Abstract
[PROBLEMS] To provide a hybrid rotating electric machine producing little noise and a large torque. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] An HB stepping motor (10) comprises a two-phase eight-main-pole stator (20) and a rotator (30) composed of two unit rotators (32, 33) each having a pair of rotator magnetic poles between which a permanent magnet is interposed. Six inductor teeth are formed on the end of each main pole of the stator. Small teeth at equal pitches are formed on the rotator magnetic poles. The polarities of the permanent magnets are inverse parallel in the axial direction. The arrangements of the teeth of the adjacent rotator magnetic poles (32b, 33a) are the same. The inductor teeth (P1 to P6) are a pair of inner inductor teeth (P3, P4) in the central portion at a first pitch A, a pair of intermediate inductor teeth (P2, P5) outside the inner inductor teeth (P3, P4) at a second pitch B, and a pair of outer inductor teeth (P1, P6) on the outermost side at a third pitch C. The pitches A, B, and C are all different from the pitches of the small teeth of the rotator magnetic poles (32a), and at least one of the pitches A, B, and C is different from the others.
