Abstract
搬送される紙葉類からの反射光の受光量の変動を抑え、紙葉類の特性データを高精度に取得する識別センサを備えた紙葉類識別装置を提供する。 紙葉類の特徴を検出する光学検知部からの受光データに基づいて紙葉類の識別を行う紙葉類識別装置において、光学検知部は、紙葉類の表面へ光を照射する第1の光源と、紙葉類表面で反射した反射光を集光する第1のレンズと、第1のレンズを透過した光を受光する第1の受光素子と、紙葉類へ光を照射する第2の光源と、紙葉類裏面で反射した反射光を集光する第2のレンズと、第2のレンズを透過した光を受光する第2の受光素子とを備え、紙葉類表面の反射面に対して第1のレンズ主面と第1の受光素子の受光面がシャインプルーフの関係になるように配置し、紙葉類裏面の反射面に対して第2のレンズ主面および第2の受光素子の受光面がシャインプルーフの関係になるように配置した。
