Abstract

La présente invention concerne une tête magnétique de film fin comprenant un élément magnétorésistant et une couche de blindage magnétique supérieure et une couche de blindage magnétique inférieure qui sont agencées respectivement sur les côtés supérieur et inférieur de l'élément magnétorésistant de façon à intercaler l'élément magnétorésistant. L'élément magnétorésistant, la couche de blindage magnétique supérieure et la couche de blindage magnétique inférieure sont reliés de manière électrique les uns aux autres. Dans la tête magnétique de film fin, une couche de terminal d'électrode reliée à la couche de blindage magnétique supérieure et celle reliée électriquement à la couche de blindage magnétique inférieure ne sont pas comprises dans une aire régulant une forme de blindage. Dans la tête magnétique de film fin, la couche de blindage magnétique supérieure est constituée d'une première couche de blindage magnétique supérieure et d'une seconde couche de blindage qui n'ont pas de différence de niveau respectivement. La première couche de blindage magnétique supérieure et la seconde couche de blindage magnétique supérieure respectivement ont des épaisseurs presque constantes. La présente invention concerne également un dispositif d'enregistrement magnétique sur lequel cette tête magnétique de film fin est située.
