Abstract

The present invention relates to a garment (1) such as a pair of trousers, a pair of shorts, a skirt, a dress or a pair of bermuda shorts, intended to be worn around the waist of an individual over an undergarment (30) and comprising a belt part (3), characterized in that it comprises a tab (10) underneath the belt part (3) and defined by two lateral incisions (11), said tab (10) being connectable releaseably to the belt part (3) in such a way that it can occupy with equal convenience either a first position in which it passes locally in front of a portion (32) of the undergarment (30) in order to conceal it, or a second position in which it passes behind the portion (32) of the undergarment (30) in order to make it visible.

Description

CLOTHES PROVIDED WITH A LEG WHICH MAY OCCULT OR RELY TO A PORTION OF A UNDERWEAR WHICH IS BELOW

The present invention relates to a garment provided with a tab for concealing or making apparent a portion of an undergarment.

Clothing worn around a person's waist and hips, such as trousers or a dress, is normally intended to completely cover the underwear worn under it, whether it is a panty, a thong, a boxer, or whatever. A certain fashion, especially women's fashion, has led in recent years to the appearance of so-called "low waist" trousers worn so that part of the undergarment is visible at the lower back and the top of the buttocks. This fashion is particularly prevalent among teenagers, female and sometimes male.

However, wearing these "low-rise" type trousers sometimes lacks elegance, is inconvenient and comfortable, and is often misunderstood by parents, teachers, family or friends who may be shocked.

Moreover, in the underwear industry, which includes a very large number of manufacturers, the brand is never apparent, most often for technical and / or aesthetic reasons. On the contrary, T-shirts, sweatshirts, dresses, skirts, pants, shorts, jackets or vests almost always carry the brand of the manufacturer, more or less visible or stylized. Underwear does not have the added appeal of brand visibility, which is an excellent advertising medium.

An object of the present invention is therefore to solve the aforementioned problems with a solution that is simple to implement, practical and inexpensive.

For this, the present invention proposes to provide very simple means that are related to the garment to make visible or not a portion of the underwear worn underneath. More specifically, the present invention relates to a garment, such as pants, shorts, skirts, dresses or Bermuda shorts, intended to be worn around the waist of an individual on an undergarment and having a belt portion, characterized in that it comprises a tab located under the waistband portion and defined by two lateral cutouts, said tab being removably connectable to the waist portion so that it can indifferently occupy either first a position in which it passes locally in front of a portion of the undergarment to hide it, a second position in which it passes behind the portion of the undergarment to make it apparent.

According to preferred embodiments, the garment according to the present invention may further comprise at least one of the following features:

in one or other of the positions, the tab passes from one side of the belt portion and is folded down in front of the opposite side;

- The free end of the tab is disposed substantially in front of the waist portion, in front of the place or the back thereof, or it extends in the direction of the bottom of the garment, beyond the part belt; detachable attachment means are provided for connecting the free end of the tab directly to the belt portion or to the tab itself;

- The removable attachment means are constituted by a button and a blink, a snap or gripping strips;

- the leg is placed laterally on the garment

it comprises two identical legs arranged symmetrically on its sides;

the tab measures from 1 to 10 cm in width, preferably from 3 to 5 cm; and the lateral cuts are parallel to each other and each have a width of less than 2 cm, preferably a zero width.

The invention will now be described in more detail with reference to particular embodiments given by way of example. illustration only and shown in the accompanying figures in which:

- Figure 1 is a side view of a pants according to the present invention;

- Figure 2 is a detail view II of a belt portion of the pants of Figure 1, with a tab placed in a first position in which it obscures a portion of undergarment;

- Figure 3 is a sectional view of Figure 2 along the line III-III;

FIG. 4 is a detail view similar to FIG. 2 in which the tab is placed in a second position in which it reveals the undergarment portion,

FIG. 5 is a sectional view of FIG. 4 along the line V-V, and

- Figure 6 is an alternative embodiment of Figure 3. Figure 1 shows, schematically shown from the side, pants 1 according to the present invention. This pants 1 has two identical legs 2 extending from a belt upper portion 3.

As also shown in more detail in Figure 2, each side of the pants 1 is provided, in close proximity to the waist portion 3, a tab 10 at two positions. Each lug 10 is defined by two substantially parallel lateral cutouts 11 formed in a portion of fabric 5 located just below the waist portion 3.

As can be seen in the sectional view of FIG. 3, each tab 10 passes behind the waist portion 3, on the side of the skin of the person wearing the pants 1. Then, the tab 10 is folded over the part belt 3, in front of it.

Each lug 10 also has a free end 15 provided with removable fastening means 20 to allow its attachment to the trousers 1.

In this first embodiment, the free end 15 of the lug 10 is in front of the belt portion 3. Thus, the lug 10 is fixed on the belt portion 3. For this, the detachable attachment means 20 consist of a two-piece snap button carried respectively by the tab 10 and the belt portion 3.

In FIGS. 2 and 3, it is apparent that the tab 10 is in a first position in which it also passes locally in front of a lateral portion 32 of undergarment 30, such as a string, so as to obscure it so that it can not be seen from the outside.

On the other hand, in FIGS. 4 and 5, the tab 10 is in a second position in which, before passing behind the belt portion 3, it is slid behind the lateral portion 32 of the undergarment 30 in order to make it apparent from the outside.

A graphic representation 19 of the mark of the undergarment is reported on the lateral portion 32 of the latter, so that it is visible in the second position of the tab (Figures 4 and 5).

In the variant embodiment illustrated in FIG. 6, the free end 15 of the lug 10 extends towards the bottom of the trousers, beyond the belt portion 3, so that the lug 10 can be attached to it. even. In this embodiment, the fastening means 20 are constituted by a button 24 sewn on the median part of the lug 10 and an eyelet 26 formed at the free end 15 of the latter. This solution allows for example to use the same buttons as those of the fly pants to create an aesthetic harmony.

Thus, when the person wearing the trousers 1 wishes that no one can see the lateral portion 32 of the undergarment 30 that it wears SCJUB the latter, it places the tab 10 in the first position illustrated for example by FIGS. 2 and 3 .

On the other hand, if this person wishes that the lateral portion 32 of undergarment 30 is apparent, it places the tab 10 in the second position illustrated by FIGS. 4 and 5.

The transition from one position to another is very simple, very fast and can be done by keeping the pants on you. The fastening means 20 prevent the lug 10 from coming off accidentally. They can also contribute to the aesthetics of the pants.

Advantageously, each tab has a width of about 1 to 10 cm wide, and preferably 3 to 5 cm.

The lateral cutouts 11 preferably measure less than 2 cm wide and may even have a zero width so that the band 10 is almost invisible whatever its position.

The solution of the present invention can have an impact at the level of the undergarment itself because it is thus possible to show its mark 19. But, usually, the mark is never apparent on this type of product for questions of manufacturing, cost and because of the intrinsic nature of the underwear that is intended to remain hidden. Underwear manufacturers can therefore take advantage of this solution to make their mark apparent in position thereof where the band is placed, that is to say more likely on the side of the worn garment. The brand can be shown, so it can serve as an advertising medium in the same way as when it is visible on a t-shirt or jacket.

It goes without saying that the detailed description of the subject of the invention, given solely by way of illustration, does not in any way constitute a limitation, the technical equivalents also being included in the scope of the present invention.

Thus, the tab 10 may very well be passed in front of the waist portion 3 before being folded inside the trousers 1, between the back of the waist portion 3 and the skin of the person wearing the garment.

The snap button and the button / eyepiece couple may be used by any equivalent means, such as Velcro (trademark) gripping straps.

Of course, the pants are only one embodiment among others. This leg system also fits a shorts, a dress, a skirt, or a Bermuda shorts. The legs 10 are not necessarily disposed laterally on two opposite sides of the garment 1. It is possible to place them a little in front or behind, and to provide more or less than two.

The legs are not necessarily identical in width and length. They may also have patterns distinct from the fabric constituting the pants.

The width of the bands 10 is also variable depending on the size and the size of the portion 32 of undergarment 30 that it is desired to reveal / hide.

Claims

1. A garment (1), such as pants, shorts, skirts, dresses or Bermuda shorts, to be worn around the waist of an individual on an undergarment (30) and having a portion of belt (3), characterized in that it comprises a tab (10) located under the belt portion (3) and defined by two lateral cutouts (11), said tab (10) being removably connectable to the part belt (3) so that it can indifferently occupy either a first position in which it passes locally in front of a portion (32) of the undergarment (30) to hide it, or a second position in which it passes behind the portion (32) of the undergarment (30) to make it apparent.

2. Garment according to claim 1, characterized in that, in one or other of the positions, the tab (10) passes from one side of the belt portion (3) and is folded in front of the opposite side.

3. Garment according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, in one or the other of the positions, the free end (15) of the lug (10) is arranged substantially opposite the belt portion ( 3), in front of the place or the back of it.

4. Garment according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that, in one or other of the positions, the free end (15) of the tab (10) extends in the direction of the bottom of the garment, beyond the belt portion (3).

5. Garment according to claim 2 or 3, characterized in that it has removable attachment means (20) for connecting the free end (15) of the tab (10) directly on the belt portion (3) or on the leg (10) itself.

6. Garment according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that the removable fastening means (20) are constituted by a button and a blink, a snap or gripping strips.

7. Garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tab (10) is disposed laterally on the garment.

8. Garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it comprises two lugs (10) identical arranged symmetrically on its sides.

9. Garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the tab (10) is of the order of 1 to 10 cm wide, preferably 3 to 5 cm.

10. Garment according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the side cutouts (11) are parallel to each other and each have a width of less than 2 cm, preferably a width of zero.
