Abstract

　高温多湿な状況で使用する場合にホルムアルデヒドを発生させることなく、かつフィルタ素材同士の接着力を維持する難燃性フィルタを提供する。本発明の難燃性フィルタは、フィルタ素材としてガラス繊維製のものを使用し、このガラス繊維製のフィルタ素材に燐酸グアニジンを含む難燃剤を付着させたものである。この難燃剤に含まれる燐酸グアニジンは燐酸に対するグアニジンのモル比を１．４以上２．０以下にしたものが用いられる。このモル比が１．４以上２．０以下である燐酸グアニジンは水溶性が低く上記フィルタ素材のバインダを加水分解させることなく、難燃性を高くする。燐酸グアニジンは、そのモル比が１．４以下であると水溶性が高く上記フィルタ素材のバインダの加水分解を促進し易くなり、上記モル比が２．０以上であると難燃性が低くなる。
