Abstract

【課題】SPECTやPETに使用することができ、「コンプトン散乱」したガンマ線に関する情報を合算し再構築することでガンマ線の検出感度を飛躍的に高め、被検者に投与する放射性物質の量を低減し、放射線被ばく量のおそれを大幅に低減することができるガンマ線検出器とガンマ線再構築方法を提供する。 【解決手段】被検体から放出されるエネルギー領域のガンマ線1に対して、吸収確率の高い吸収物質からなる吸収用シンチレータ12と、コンプトン散乱の確率の高いコンプトン散乱物質からなるコンプトン散乱用シンチレータ14と、2種のシンチレータにおいて同時計測したガンマ線のエネルギー吸収量を合算し被検体から放出されたガンマ線を再構築するエネルギー検出装置16とを備える。2種のシンチレータ12,14は、ガンマ線1の全エネルギーを吸収又はコンプトン散乱するように、多層に配列されている。
