Abstract
転送する総データ量が所定量以上となる場合に、デバイス側に特別な構成を必要とせず、転送速度を向上するデバイスコントローラ。 アプリケーションもしくはデバイスドライバから受信したデータ、ならびに前記対象デバイスから受信したデータをキャッシュするキャッシュメモリと、前記キャッシュメモリにキャッシュしたデータを前記対象デバイス、ならびに前記アプリケーションもしくはデバイスドライバ、に転送する制御部と、を備える。制御部は、上位側からリード、またはライト要求を受信し、転送されるデータをキャッシュメモリにキャッシュする。ライト時には上位側から受信したデータをキャッシュし、ある程度の容量のデータとしてまとめて下位側に送信する。リード時には下位側からある程度の容量のデータをまとめて読み出し、上位側に送信する。
