Abstract

産生する組成物中に占めるアスタキサンチン含有量が35質量%以上であるエリスロバクター属;16SrDNAの塩基配列が、配列番号1に示す塩基配列か、又は配列番号1に示す塩基配列と96%以上の相同性を有する塩基配列であるエリスロバクターJPCC M種;かかる細菌を培養して得られる細菌培養物;かかる細菌から採取された、アスタキサンチンを含有する組成物;エリスロバクター属に属する細菌を培養する工程を有するアスタキサンチンの製造方法であって、この細菌が、産生される全色素中に占めるアスタキサンチン含有量が35質量%以上となるアスタキサンチン産生能を有するアスタキサンチンの製造方法。
