Abstract

Die Aufgabe, eine einfache und kostengünstig zu bewerkstelligende Windkraftanlage (1) mit zumindest einem Rotor (2, 3) zu schaffen, welche im Hinblick auf den zu erzielenden Wirkungsgrad weiter verbessert ist, wird durch eine Windkraftanlage (1) mit zumindest einem Rotor (2, 3), welcher mit wenigstens einem Generator (4) zur Erzeugung elektrischer Energie wirkverbunden ist, dadurch gelöst, dass der zumindest eine Rotor (2, 3) durch einen "Widerstandsläufer" mit zwei oder mehr Rotorblättern (5) gebildet ist, welcher derart innerhalb eines Gehäuses (6) angeordnet ist, dass in Windrichtung sich bewegende Rotorblätter (5) desselben aus der Außenkontur des Gehäuses (6) herausragen, wobei besagtes Gehäuse (6) ein strömungsgünstiges Profil aufweist, welches unter weitestgehender Vermeidung von Turbulenzen überwiegend laminare Strömungen an der von der Luftströmung überstrichenen Oberfläche desselben erlaubt.
