Abstract

視神経線維層の厚さを容易にかつ高確度で計測できる眼底検査装置を提供する。ストークスベクトル演算部５３は、眼底検査部６０により得られた信号に基づいてストークスベクトルを求める。位相差分布演算部５４は、このストークスベクトルに基づいて、眼底の特定領域（ヘンレ線維層）による眼底反射光の位相差分布を求める。前眼部遅相軸演算部５５と前眼部位相差演算部５６は、この位相差分布に基づいて、前眼部成分（前眼部の遅相軸、前眼部に起因する位相差）を求める。ＮＦＬ成分抽出部５７は、この前眼部成分に基づいて、ＮＦＬ成分を眼底反射光の偏光状態から抽出する。ＮＦＬ厚演算部５８は、このＮＦＬ成分に基づいて視神経線維層の厚さを演算する。
