Abstract
外部に向けて十分な出射光量を得られ、かつ、均一な発光状態を得られる光ファイバとそれを用いた照明装置および光ファイバ製造方法を提供する。コア層11及び該コア層を被覆するクラッド層12を有し、入射光Gに対して傾斜したハーフミラー面23を有することを特徴とする光ファイバ。また、コア層及び該コア層を被覆するクラッド層からなる光ファイバに加熱した金型を押し付けることにより、入射光に対して傾斜したハーフミラー面を形成する工程と、該金型を光ファイバから分離する工程、とからなることを特徴とする光ファイバ製造方法。
