Abstract
ハーフトロイダル型無断変速機は、トラニオン9aの内側面に形成した円形凹部33の内周面と、クランク部材34aの外周面との間に、断面くさび状の隙間を、この円形凹部33の全周に亙って介在させる。この隙間の断面形状は、円形凹部33の奥に向かう程径方向に関する幅が狭く、この円形凹部33の開口部に向かう程この幅が広くなる。この為に、例えば、上記クランク部材34aの外周面を、円すい凸面39とする。或いは、円形凹部の内周面を円すい凹面とする。これにより、トラニオン9aが弾性変形した場合でも、円形凹部33の内周面とクランク部材34aの外周面とが強く摩擦し合う事を防止する。この場合でも、意図しない変速動作が行なわれる事を防止する。
