Abstract
Un véhicule commandé automatiquement, par exemple pour une utilisation dans un système de transport rapide personnel, comprend des roues avant et arrière (2, 4) qui sont orientables au moyen d'actionneurs de direction (16, 18). En fonctionnement normal, un accouplement (20) est désengagé, de telle sorte que les roues avant et arrière (2, 4) sont orientées indépendamment l'une de l'autre. Dans le cas d'une défaillance de l'un des actionneurs de direction (16, 18), l'accouplement (20) est engagé, et les deux roues avant et arrière (2, 4) sont orientées, par exemple dans des directions opposées l'une à l'autre, au moyen des actionneurs de direction fonctionnels restants (16, 18).
