Abstract

 ファンモータに出力される信号の遮断及び復帰の繰り返しを抑制することにより異音を発生を抑制するとともにパワー素子を保護し、且つ、ファンモータの運転可能エリアが狭くなるのを抑制する。  ファンモータ制御装置では、ブラシレスDCモータの過電流が検出されると、ブラシレスDCモータに出力される信号が遮断される。その後、ブラシレスDCモータに出力される信号の変調率が過電流検出時の変調率より小さい範囲であるという条件を満たす変調率に制限されるように変調率最大制限値を設定する(S52、S53)。そして、変調率最大制限値が予め設定された下限値未満の場合には(S54:No)、当該下限値を変調率最大制限値をとして設定する(S55)。
