Abstract
フレームレートの変化により単位時間当たりの画像データ量が大きく変化する場合でも、画質を大幅に劣化させることなく画像データの記録を行うことができる撮像記録装置を提供する。フレームレート設定部7は撮像時のフレームレートを設定する。画像データ圧縮部11は、1つのフレーム内の情報に基づいて画像データを圧縮するフレーム内圧縮と、複数フレーム間の情報に基づいて画像データを圧縮するフレーム間予測とを用いて画像データを圧縮する。Iフレーム制御部10は。フレームレートに応じて、フレーム内圧縮を行うIフレームの間隔を制御する。
