Abstract

 対応点検出や動き検出が正確に行えない画像領域も含めて複数の動画像を統合した新たな動画像を生成する画像生成装置は、撮像装置(10)を制御して1つの露光期間中に露光量を時間的に変化させる露光制御部(105)と、露光制御部(105)の制御下で撮影された第1動画像と第2動画像とを取得する画像入力部(101)と、前記第1動画像と第2動画像とから、前記第1動画像のフレームレート以上のフレームレートでかつ前記第2動画像の解像度以上の解像度の新たな動画像を、前記第2動画像のフレームと、前記第2動画像のフレームの露光期間に対応する前記新たな動画像の複数のフレームの合計との誤差を減少させることによって生成する画像統合部(104)とを備え、前記第2動画像は前記第1動画像よりも解像度が高く、かつ前記第2動画像は前記第1動画像よりもフレームの露光時間が長い。
