Abstract

 電極37の先端面と金属板11の端面との間にパルス状の放電を発生させて、電極37を消耗させて、電極37の先端面に金属板11の端面の形状に即した窪み41を形成し、電極37を金属板11の側面に対して直交する方向へ相対的に移動させつつ、電極37の窪み41の内側面と金属板11の端面の側面11bl(11cl),11br(11cr)との間にパルス状の放電を発生させて、金属板11の端面の側面11bl(11cl),11br(11cr)に、補助被膜43,45を形成し、電極37の窪み41の奥面と金属板11の端面の先端面11bu(11cu)との間にパルス状の放電を発生させて、金属板11の端面に肉盛層47を形成する。
