Abstract

　触媒を充填した反応器にエチレン、酸素及び有機塩素化合物を供給してエチレンオキシドを製造する方法において、供給された有機塩素化合物量が少ない段階で、供給した有機塩素化合物中の塩素原子の累積モル数に応じて有機塩素化合物の供給速度を制御しながら反応を始動し、その後、有機塩素化合物の供給速度を最適な速度に調節することにより、触媒の活性・選択率・寿命特性等を向上させた。
