Abstract

コンテンツ配信システム（１）は、一又は複数のコンテンツを管理するコンテンツ管理手段（４０）と、コンテンツのマルチキャストストリームを配信するマルチキャスト配信手段（２０）と、コンテンツのユニキャストストリームを配信するユニキャスト配信手段（３０）と、端末（６０）とを備える。コンテンツ管理手段は配信の要求に応じて、端末にマルチキャスト配信手段を特定する第１情報及びユニキャスト配信手段を特定する第２情報を送信し、端末は第１情報に基づいて、所望コンテンツに対応するマルチキャストストリームを受信して再生し、端末は特殊再生の要求が受け付けられた際に、第２情報に基づいてユニキャスト配信手段に特殊再生を要求し、ユニキャスト配信手段は特殊再生の要求に応じて、端末に特殊再生のためのユニキャストストリームを配信し、端末は特殊再生のためのユニキャストストリームを受信して再生する。
