Abstract

 レーザ光源から出射されたレーザ光を2つに分割し、分割された2つのレーザ光の一方に対して、記録情報に基づいて2次元の空間変調を施し、これを信号光として記録媒体に照射するとともに、他方を参照光として記録媒体に照射して、記録媒体に記録情報を記録する。一方、記録媒体を透過又は反射したレーザ光に基づいて記録媒体に記録された記録情報を再生する。光学系は、その反射面の向きに応じた角度で参照光を記録媒体に導く回動自在なミラー部と、ミラー部の背面に結合した防振部材と、ミラー部の角度位置を定めるミラー部に連結された駆動機構と、を含む。
