Abstract

 本発明は、工業的にバイオマスを生成源として水素を生産するために用いることができる、水素収率及び水素生産速度に優れた水素発生菌を提供することを目的とする。すなわち、本発明は、YNU嫌気培地で、47°C、pH6.0の条件で回分培養することにより、グルコースを基質として、1Lの培養液で1時間当たり60mmol以上の水素を生産することを特徴とするクロストリジウム(Clostridium)属菌、及び、該クロストリジウム属菌を用いることを特徴とする水素生産方法を提供することを目的とする。
