Abstract

 光検出回路60は、入力された光の光レベルに応じた電圧を発生させるPD受信部610と、PD受信部610によって生成された電圧を増幅させるHighレンジ増幅部631と、PD受信部610によって生成された電圧をさらに高い増幅率で増幅させるLowレンジ増幅部632と、Highレンジ増幅部631およびLowレンジ増幅部632の出力電圧の電圧レベルをデジタル値化するAD変換部640と、AD変換部640の変換結果を閾値と比較して、Highレンジ増幅部631の出力電圧の電圧レベルがデジタル値化された値と、Lowレンジ増幅部632の出力電圧の電圧レベルがデジタル値化された値のいずれを出力するかを選択する選択部651と、選択部651の選択結果に応じた補正値を補正テーブル655bから取得し、選択部651によって選択された値に加算する出力補正部653とを備える。
