Abstract

この発明は、マスクを幾つかの部分に分割して各部分を伸びる連結部分で継ぎ合わせるとともに、それら各部分と連結部分との各縁に亘って伸びを規制する縁材を付設することで、使い心地がよく、かつ使用により弛みを生じにくいフェイスマスクを提案する。 このフェイスマスクは、少なくとも利用者の頭部の鼻の下から顎に亘る部分を覆う柔軟な第１の布状片２と、上記頭部の少なくとも横頬から後頭部に延びる一対の柔軟な第２の布状片４と、第１の布状片２の左右端部と第２の布状片４の対応端部とを連結する、弾性伸縮可能で柔軟な布状の連結片８とを有し、両第２の布状片４の先部５を、後頭部側で相互に連結することができるように設け、第１、第２の布状片２、４を連結片８よりも伸びにくい素材で形成し、かつ少なくとも連結片８の上端部から第１、第２の布状片２、４の上端部隣接部分に亘って連結片より伸びにくい上縁材１０ａを付設している。
