Abstract

 ポルフィラジンの誘導体であって、上記ポルフィラジンはチオフェンと縮合環を形成しており、かつ、上記チオフェン骨格は、2位に、アルキル基等の官能基を備える化合物は、有機溶媒に対して高い溶解度を示すとともに、高い結晶性を示し、溶液プロセスを用いた結晶性薄膜の形成に好適な化合物である。これにより、有機溶媒に対して高い溶解度を有し、かつ、高い分子配向性を有する新規ポルフィラジン誘導体およびその中間体、新規ポルフィラジン誘導体およびその中間体の製造方法、並びにその利用を提供する。
