Abstract

The invention relates to a device for displaying the date of the month that comprises: a driving wheel (10) driven by a clock movement; for displaying the tenths of the date of the month, a first plate (26) including representations of the 0, 1, 2, 3 digits at least once. According to the invention, the device further includes, for displaying the units of the date of the month, a second upper plate (28) having at least one open or transparent sector and a third lower plate (30) at least partially covered by the second plate in a display area, visible through said open or transparent sector in the display area, said second and third plates being respectively divided into N and M regular sectors, N and M being equal to 8 or 9, the digits 0 and 9 being distributed between the two plates, one per sector.
