Abstract

 本発明は、高強度な割に高延性なAl-Zn-Mg-Cu系の7000系Al合金を提供することを目的とする。この目的のために、Al-Zn-Mg-Cu系の7000系Al合金溶湯を、不活性ガスによって、好ましくはスプレイフォーミングし、急冷凝固させたプリフォーム体を固化させて得るAl合金に含まれる酸素量を減らして、介在物が無い組織とする。このAl合金は、常温での機械的な特性として、600MPa以上の引張強度を有し、かつ、引張強度が600MPa以上、800MPa未満の場合には15%以上の伸びを有するとともに、引張強度が800MPa以上の場合には10%以上の伸びを有するものとし、転造などの冷間加工性に優れている。
