Abstract

 本発明は、燃料電池に対するソケット部の取付け性やソケット部による液体燃料のシール性を簡易な構造で高めることによって、小型化を阻害することなく、信頼性や安全性を高めた燃料電池を提供することを目的とする。本発明は、燃料カートリッジのノズルの着脱動作に応じて開閉される燃料流路を有するソケット部4と、ソケット部4が収納されるソケット収納部5と、ソケット収納部5と燃料供給路9を介して接続される燃料収容部と、燃料収容部から燃料が供給されて発電動作する起電部とを具備する燃料電池に関する。ソケット部4内の燃料流路と燃料供給路9との間は弾性体31でシールされる。ソケット部4のソケット収納部5内への挿入位置は、ソケット部4による弾性体31の押圧力を制御するように位置決めされる。ソケット収納部5内への挿入位置が規定されたソケット部4は固定部で固定される。
