Abstract

本発明は、高エネルギー密度キャパシタの実現のため、充放電を繰り返しても静電容量が劣化(低下)しない電解液、当該電解液の製造方法、及び当該電解液を用いたキャパシタを提供することを目的とする。本発明の電解液は、非水系溶液中に金属イオンを分散させたことを特徴とする。本発明の好適な実施態様において、前記金属イオンが、2価金属イオンであることを特徴とする。また、他の好適な実施態様において、前記2価金属イオンが、Cu2+、Mn2+、Ni2+からなる群から選択される少なくとも1種であることを特徴とする。
