Abstract
L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'articles imprimés comprenant une image principale visible et plusieurs images complémentaires cachées, non observables visuellement et formées de manière à ce que chacune d'elles puisse se manifester séparément. Elle comprend le stade de formation d'une trame ordonnée destinée à la transmission pour impression de l'image principale et d'insertion dans la structure de cette trame de variations locales correspondant aux gradations tonales d'une image cachée correspondante. Lors de l'impression d'au moins une couche de couleur de l'image principale on forme deux ou trois structures de trame se distinguant par leur angle de formation de trame, on code dans chaque structure une paire d'images cachées et on superpose ces structures de trame. Selon l'invention, lors de l'impression le gradient de chaque élément de la couche de couleur correspondante de l'image principale est réduite pendant la formation de deux trames selon la formule X'=2X-X2, et pendant la formation de trois trames selon la formule X''=3X2+X3, dans lesquelles X' est la valeur de gradient d'un élément déterminé dans chacune des deux structures de trames formées, X'' est la valeur de gradient de l'élément déterminé dans chacune des trois structures de trame formées et X est la valeur de gradient du même élément de l'image à imprimer d'origine. Les articles imprimés fabriqués se selon ce procédé peut contenir jusqu'à six images cachées complémentaires dans chaque couche de couleur.
