Abstract

 小型で既存の照明設備に容易に適用でき、発熱の問題を解決しながら長寿命化を実現するようなLED照明装置の提供を目的とする。本発明のLED照明装置は、所要のソケットに装着可能な口金部と、発光ダイオードを配してなる発光部と、前記発光部を搭載させると共に前記口金部を外部に突出させるように設けられ前記発光部及び前記口金部を一体とするケースと、前記ケース内で前記発光部の発光面の裏面側に配設された空冷ファンと、前記ケースに開口され前記空冷ファンとの間で空気を導入若しくは導出する開口部とを有することを特徴とする。開口部を有したケースに一体化された空冷ファンを作動させることで発光ダイオードを配してなる発光部で発生した熱を放出することができる。
