Abstract

 本願は、工業的規模で簡便かつ安価に製造可能な新規なアミン化合物の光学分割剤を提供することを課題とする。この課題は、光学活性な2-(アロイルオキシ)プロピオン酸をアミン化合物の光学分割剤として使用することにより解決される。光学活性な2-(アロイルオキシ)プロピオン酸は、光学活性な乳酸又はそのエステルから製造することが可能である。このため、工業的規模で簡便かつ安価な光学分割剤を提供することができる。また、アロイル基の置換基としては種々のものが容易に製造可能であるため、種々のアミン化合物の光学分割に適用できる確率を飛躍的に向上させることが可能である。
