Abstract

An einem elektrischen Kabel sind an beiden Kabelenden Kabelsteckverbinder montiert, von denen der am einen Kabelende montierte Kabelsteckverbinder nach Art eines Stiftsteckers (1) und der am andern Kabelende montierte Kabelsteckverbinder nach Art eines Buchsensteckers (25) ausgebildet ist. An den elektrischen Leitern (9, 10) des Kabels (11) sind an beiden Kabelenden gleich ausgebildete elektrische Kontaktteile (8) befestigt, die entweder alle in Form von Kontaktstiften oder alle in Form von Kontaktbuchsen ausgebildet sind. Die am einen Kabelende angebrachten Kontaktteile (8) sind in Durchgangsöffnungen des Kontaktträgers (4, 26) des an diesem Kabelende montierten Kabelsteckverbinders eingesteckt und bilden selbst die Steckkontakte und die am anderen Kabelende angebrachten gleich ausgebildeten Kontaktteile (8) sind mit Steckkontakten (30, 38), die vom Kontaktträger (4, 26) des an diesem Kabelende montierten Kabelsteckverbinders gehalten sind, zusammengesteckt.
