Abstract

La présente invention relève du domaine des techniques de mesure et peut être utilisée pour contrôler automatiquement l'état technique d'une paire de roues de matériel roulant ferroviaire au cours de son utilisation. Le procédé de surveillance des paramètres d'une paire de roues et de sa position par rapport à des rails consiste à exposer la surface de travail d'une roue à un rayonnement lumineux, à recevoir le rayonnement diffus depuis des points situés sur la surface de travail irradiée de la roue, à mesurer les coordonnées de ces points et, selon les coordonnées reçues, à recomposer le profil complet de la roue puis à le comparer au profil de référence d'une roue de la paire. Le procédé de cette invention se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste, lors de la mesure des coordonnées sur la surface de travail d'une roue, à mesurer également le déplacement vertical de la roue en question par rapport à un rail, ainsi que le spectre de fréquence de contraintes dynamiques de la roue contre le rail, puis à utiliser ces caractéristiques également mesurées pour détecter les défauts liés à l'usure inégale de la roue et, sur la base de l'ensemble des paramètres mesurés de la roue, à tirer des conclusions concernant l'éventuelle utilisation ultérieure de la paire de roues.
