Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de sélection d'index de programmation de modulation et de codage (MCS) dans un système de communication sans fil. Plus spécifiquement, le procédé consiste à mesurer une sélectivité de fréquence d'un canal de réception, à sélectionner un index de MCS possédant une vitesse de codage en dessous d'une valeur seuil de vitesse de codage prescrite si la sélectivité de fréquence mesurée est supérieure ou égale à un seuil de sélectivité de fréquence spécifié et, à sélectionner l'index de MCS possédant la vitesse de codage supérieure ou égale à la valeur seuil de vitesse de codage prescrite si la sélectivité de fréquence mesurée est inférieure au seuil de sélectivité de fréquence spécifiée.
