Abstract

　本発明は、軽量でありながら、優れた強度を有するゴルフクラブヘッドを提供することを課題としている。上記課題を解決すべく、打球面を有するフェイス外殻が備えられた中空構造が形成されてなり、前記フェイス外殻は、打球面の裏面側中央領域を裏面側に突出させた中央厚肉部と、該中央厚肉部を通ってクラウン外殻からソール外殻にわたる縦長の領域を裏面側に突出させた縦方向厚肉部とを有し、しかも、前記縦方向厚肉部が前記中央厚肉部よりも細幅で且つ前記縦方向厚肉部の厚みが前記中央厚肉部の厚み以上であることを特徴とするゴルフクラブヘッドを提供する。
