Abstract

　脂肪酸アルキルエステルの製造に用いる脂肪族アルコールの沸点付近あるいは沸点以下の反応温度で、かつ少量の触媒の使用で油脂と脂肪族アルコールとのエステル交換反応を利用して脂肪酸アルキルエステルを短時間の反応であっても高い収率で製造することができる方法を提供する。 　油脂とＲＯＨ（Ｒは、炭素原子数１～６のアルキル基である）で表される脂肪族アルコールとを、ＢＥＴ比表面積が２０ｍ2／ｇ以上で、直径２～１００ｎｍの範囲にある細孔の全細孔容積が０．１５ｍＬ／ｇ以上である酸化カルシウムの存在下にて反応させることからなる脂肪酸アルキルエステルの製造方法。
