Abstract

光が入射される入射面５と、入射面５に入射された光が出射する出射面７とを有する光透過部材１００と、光透過部材１００を振動させる振動部材１０１とを備え、光透過部材１００は、入射面５を含む平面と、出射面７を含む平面とが交わるように入射面と出射面とが配置される多角柱であり、振動部材１０１は、光透過部材１００に入射される光の光透過部材１００内を伝播する距離が変化する方向へ、光透過部材を振動させる。これにより、光源が可干渉性の光を発する場合において、スペックルノイズを低減した画像を表示するための光学素子を提供することが可能になる。
