Abstract

 光信号モニタ装置は、光干渉部、サンプリング用光パルス発生部、光サンプリング部、光電変換器、演算部を有する。前記光干渉部は、光分岐器、遅延器、光位相調整器、光合波器を含む。前記光分岐器は、所定のシンボルレートで位相変調された監視対象の光信号を2光路に分岐する。前記遅延器は、前記2光路に分岐されたうちの一方の光信号に1シンボル分の整数倍相当分の遅延を与える。前記光位相調整器は、前記遅延器からの出射光と前記2光路に分岐されたうちの他方の光信号とが所定の光位相差となるようにする。前記光合波器は、前記所定の光位相差とされた光信号同士を合波し、前記位相変調された監視対象の光信号を強度変調光に変換して出射する。前記サンプリング用光パルス発生部は、前記所定のシンボルレートに対応したシンボルクロック周期の整数倍に対して所定のオフセット時間の差がある周期のサンプリング用光パルスを発生する。前記光サンプリング部は、前記強度変調光を前記サンプリング用光パルスでサンプリングして光パルス信号を出射する。
