Additionally, when the partition is opened, the gas springs or arm-rod mechanism is stationary; the partition comes to open position and keeps its position upon fitting of the pin on the arm into its slot or the two V shaped centrally pivoting arms opening 180° (not shown in the figures).
  • this partition (4) can be used in all the vehicles in which the said seat (1) is used. Furthermore, the fact that the partition (4) is independent from the vehicle body, removes the obligation of mounting the partition (4) when the vehicle body is in the assembly line. This eliminates a considerable assembly labor time, the preparations made on the body for the connection of the partition and the investment cost.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un siège (1) qui, grâce à sa capacité à pouvoir être rabattu, permet d'utiliser plus efficacement l'espace intérieur d'un véhicule. L'objectif de cette invention est de mettre au point un siège comportant une cloison réglable (4).
