Abstract
L'invention concerne un générateur de gaz comprenant une ossature résistante, apte à conserver son intégrité en fonctionnement, laquelle ossature forme une chambre primaire (3) contenant un composé primaire pyrotechnique tel qu'un propergol, une chambre secondaire (14) contenant un composé secondaire tel que du nitrate d'ammonium additivé, et une zone de stabilisation (22). La partie d'ossature formant la chambre secondaire comprend au moins une paroi (15, 16) allégée en au moins un matériau polymérique solide étanche au gaz, le(s)dit(s) matériau(x) polymérique(s) étant adapté(s) pour former une paroi allégée présentant une température de perte des propriétés mécaniques supérieure à 120°C et possédant des caractéristiques mécaniques telles que la chambre secondaire présente un volume interne en fonctionnement inférieur à quatre fois ce volume interne au repos.
