Abstract

The invention relates to a method for production of pastas from starch-containing, particulate starting materials with the following steps: a) production of a starting material dry mixture in a dry mixing zone, b) addition of water to the starting material dry mixture, whilst the starting material is agitated and wetted in a wet mixing zone to give a moistened starting material mixture and, c) shaping the mixture obtained thus into defined compacted cohesive shapes. Between steps b) and c) the particulate starting materials undergo residence in compacted state in a residence or buffer zone.
