Abstract

L'invention concerne une installation de compression qui présente au moins une turbine à gaz (2) qui comprend un compresseur de turbine à gaz, ainsi qu'une turbine à vapeur (3). Une installation (4) de production de vapeur associée à la turbine à gaz (2) est alimentée en gaz d'échappement de la turbine à gaz (2) de telle sorte que la vapeur produite dans l'installation (4) de production de vapeur entraîne la turbine à vapeur (3). Les installations habituelles de compression présentent un mauvais rendement. L'apport de l'invention réside en ce qu'un compresseur supplémentaire (9) qui comprime un fluide de travail et qui est relié directement à la turbine à gaz (2) et/ou à la turbine à vapeur (3) est associé à la combinaison constituée de la turbine à gaz (2) et de la turbine à vapeur (3) de telle sorte que le compresseur (9) associé puisse être entraîné directement par la turbine à gaz (2) et/ou par la turbine à vapeur (3).
