Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a chassis particularly for go-karts.
  • Go-karts (or more briefly karts) are constituted substantially by a tubular steel chassis, with no suspensions, and by a small-displacement engine which transfers the motion to a rigid rear axle with no differential.
  • the steel used is commonly a chromium-molybdenum steel and the tubing has a cross-section comprised between 22 and 35 mm.
  • the tubes that constitute the chassis are generally welded together by wire welding.
