Abstract

In a butterfly valve construction, there is provided an engaging groove part having a varying interval in which an interval of the engaging groove is gradually widened in a closing position direction so that it is formed depending on an actual flow rate as the valve is opened, and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction. Since an interval of an opening maintaining engaging groove, which maintains an opening and closing state of an opening and closing handle, is formed in proportion to an actual flow rate, a user can reliably control a flow rate depending on a use purpose.

Technical Field
[1] The present invention relates to a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate, and in particular to a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate in which a varying interval of an engaging groove is formed at an outer circumference of an upper side of a valve body, so that it is gradually widened in a closing position direction depending on an actual flow rate as a valve is opened and closed, and is gradually narrowed in an opening position direction, so that a flow rate reliably changes in proportion to an opening and closing degree as a butterfly valve is opened. [2] Generally, a butterfly valve is designed to control the flow of fluid by means of a valve consisting of a circular plate valve or a spherical ball valve and comprises a valve, a valve space for accommodating the valve and controlling the flow of fluid, and a valve opening and closing member which converts a user's operation force into a rotational force via a valve rotation shaft axially connected with the valve space.
[3] Here, the valve opening and closing member includes an opening and closing handle provided at an upper side of the valve shaft. Opening maintaining engaging groove parts each having an opening maintaining engaging groove are formed at an upper outer surface of the valve body at regular intervals. The opening and closing handle is provided with an engaging member which is caught by a corresponding opening maintaining engaging groove of the opening maintaining engaging groove part.
[4] However, in an opening and closing operation of the conventional butterfly valve, an operation and closing state is maintained by rotating the opening and closing handle and limiting the same with respect to the opening maintaining engaging groove part. The valve consists of a circular plate valve or a ball valve having a hole passing through a spherical ball. So, it is impossible to obtain an opening and closing operation with a proportional flow rate in an actual opening and closing operation of a valve.

Technical Problem
[5] Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate which overcomes the problems that an opening and closing operation is not performed with a proportional flow rate in a butterfly valve. Technical Solution
[6] To achieve the above object, there is provided a butterfly valve which comprises an engaging groove part having a varying interval in which an interval of an engaging groove formed at an outer circumference of an upper side of a valve body is gradually widened in a closing position direction, and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction.
Advantageous Effects
[7] Accordingly, in the present invention, when a user controls a valve, it is possible to control a flow rate variably for a certain purpose by forming an engaging groove part having a varying interval so that an interval groove maintaining an opening and closing state of an opening and closing handle changed in proportion. [11] In the present invention, there is provided a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate which comprises an engaging groove part 10 having a varying interval in which an interval of the engaging groove is gradually widened in a closing position direction so that it is formed depending on an actual flow rate as the valve 32 is opened, and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction. [13] In the present invention, as the butterfly valve is opened and closed, a flow rate depending on an opening and closing operation of the valve is performed in proportion.
[14] In a butterfly valve which includes a valve 32, a valve space 31 for accommodating the valve and controlling the flow of fluid, and a valve opening and closing means for converting a user's operational force into a rotational force via a valve rotation shaft axially connected with the valve of the valve space wherein the valve opening and closing means includes an opening and closing handle 20 at an upper side of the valve shaft, and an engaging groove is formed at an upper outer circumference of the valve body, and an engaging member 21 caught by the engaging groove is formed at the opening and closing handle 20, there is provided a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate which comprises an engaging groove part 10 having a varying interval in which an interval of the engaging groove is gradually widened in a closing position direction so that it is formed depending on an actual flow rate as the valve 32 is opened, and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction.
[15] An opening degree display part 40 provided at a portion opposite to the engaging groove part 10 of a varying interval is provided with a varying interval in the same construction as the engaging groove part 10 of a varying interval.
[16] In the above butterfly valve having an engaging groove part 10 having a varying interval in which an opening and closing member is formed of an opening and closing handle 20, an interval of the engaging groove is gradually widened in a close position direction and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction, when a user opens a valve by operating the opening and closing handle 20, the valve 32 is opened by a certain degree depending on a varying interval.
[17] The opening degree of the valve 32 is variable, but it is opened in proportion to an actual flow rate, so that it is possible to achieve a reliable flow rate control based on a user's demand.
[18] In addition, an opening degree display part 40 provided at a portion opposite to the engaging groove part 10 of a varying interval is also provided with a varying interval, it is possible to accurately check a flow rate depending on an opening degree of the valve that a user opened.

[20] Therefore, in the present invention, an engaging groove part having a varying interval is provided by ensuring that an engaging groove interval of an engaging groove part, which maintains an opening and closing state of an opening and closing handle, is designed to have a proportional flow rate. So, a user can perform a certain flow rate control depending on a purpose when operating the valve.
[21] As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described examples are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.

[1] In a butterfly valve which includes a valve 32, a valve space 31 for accommodating the valve and controlling the flow of fluid, and a valve opening and closing means for converting a user's operational force into a rotational force via a valve rotation shaft axially connected with the valve of the valve space wherein the valve opening and closing means includes an opening and closing handle 20 at an upper side of the valve shaft, and an engaging groove is formed at an upper outer circumference of the valve body, and an engaging member 21 caught by the engaging groove is formed at the opening and closing handle 20, a lever type butterfly valve with a constant flow rate, comprising: an engaging groove part 10 having a varying interval in which an interval of the engaging groove is gradually widened in a closing position direction so that it is formed depending on an actual flow rate as the valve 32 is opened, and is gradually narrowed in an open position direction.
[2] The valve of claim 1, wherein an opening degree display part 40 provided at a portion opposite to the engaging groove part 10 of a varying interval is provided with a varying interval in the same construction as the engaging groove part 10 of a varying interval.
