Abstract

The invention relates to a folding buggy essentially characterised in that it is formed by a telescopic bar (1) having a folding lever (2) at the upper end thereof and self-steering wheel (3) at the lower end thereof. The central section of the bar includes a support (4) having two collapsible arms (5) articulated thereto. The free ends of said arms are provided with wheels (3). The invention also includes a chair (6 and 7) formed by a backrest (6) and a seat (7), both of which are collapsible.

The object of the present invention, as expressed in the statement of this specification, refers to a folding children's car of the type used to transport babies and young children.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

In general, a children's car is a device for transporting a baby or a young child sitting outdoors, and must be foldable when necessary. There are numerous models of folding cars for children on the market; all of them are based on some type of chassis or frame based on tubular metal profiles of preferably cylindrical section; said frame is designed in such a way that it rests on three or four wheels, depending on the car model; This frame usually presents the possibility of being able to fold down in a longitudinal direction, giving rise to structures that once folded, remain flat and rectangular, which are generally designed, to be stored in the trunk of a car, behind a Door or under a bed.

All these designs generally have three major drawbacks: they are usually of a fairly complex and also bulky and heavy constitution; even folded, the flat structures mentioned above to which they give rise, have large dimensions of width and length.

A fourth drawback is also that the process of unfolding and folding the car is usually laborious in general. DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

In order to overcome all these inconveniences, the new folding children's car has been designed, object of this technical report.

First, its constitution is simple, light and not very bulky, especially in a folded position; the new car is based on a telescopic bar thanks to which, its dimensions can be reduced to a size similar to that of a folding umbrella, which allows its introduction in bags and backpacks of common type; Finally, its folding and unfolding process is also extremely simple.

The new children's car is constituted by a telescopic bar, which is also provided with a handle that can also be folded at its upper end and a self-orientating wheel at the bottom, which incorporates a support in its intermediate area on which two folding arms are articulated endowed in its free ends of two wheels, as well as a chair formed by a folding back and seat. The support incorporated in the telescopic bar has two joints located in its rear area, on whose axes the two folding arms equipped with wheels at their ends pivot, which are arranged symmetrically with respect to the vertical central plane of the chair forming an angle with respect to it. of approximately 60 °.

The folding arms provided with wheels at their ends, when they are in a retracted position, are placed in parallel with the telescopic bar, while in the deployed position, they open radially, forming a seating surface of triangular geometry, that is, with the appearance of a tripod with wheels.

The folding arms, when in an unfolded position, are fixed in said position through a rotating part located in the center of the telescopic bar support, which rotates on an axis perpendicular to the support, and which has three radial arms provided each of them with semicircular seats at their ends, which, in the locked position, are faced with the telescopic bar and the folding arms below its articulation axis, locking its movement, while in an unblocked position, they are inserted in the spaces between the two folding arms and the telescopic bar.

The support incorporated in the telescopic bar, has in its front area a double joint on which the chair is articulated. This double articulation arranged in the front area of the telescopic bar support, has horizontal axes of rotation on which rotate to fold down bars that make up the structure of the seat and the backrest, as well as vertical axes on which they rotate to its once the sides of the structure of the seat and backrest, in order to be able to fold towards the telescopic bar. The back of the chair has a fixing bracket in the form of a clamp that engages on the telescopic bar being locked in said position through a movable bushing along said telescopic bar.

Optionally, a triangular object carrier network (of cloth, plastic mesh or similar) can be placed in the lower part of the car, between the three elements that constitute the lower support tripod, that is> the lower part of the bar telescopic folding and the two folding arms.

The folding process of the new children's car is described below.
