- Object display processing device object display processing method, and object display processing program
- the present invention relates to an object display processing device, an object display processing method, and an object display processing program for displaying a plurality of objects on a screen and executing processing corresponding to an operation on the object.
- Non-Patent Document 1 R. Mander, G. Salomon, and YY Wong. A 'Pile' Metaphor for Supporting Casual Organization of Information.
- an object display processing device, an object display processing method, and an object display processing program according to the present invention are intended to enable easy and efficient classification and management of a plurality of objects on a screen. I will.
- the object display processing device, the object display processing method, and the object display processing program according to the present invention are intended to improve operability when classifying and managing objects outside the objects displayed on the screen. To do.
- An object display processing device, an object display processing method, and an object display processing program of the present invention according to the present invention employ the following means in order to achieve at least a part of the above object.
- An object display processing device comprises:
- An object display processing device that displays a plurality of objects on a screen and executes processing according to an operation on the object
- Distance calculating means for extracting a pair of objects from the plurality of objects and calculating a distance on the screen between the pair of objects;
- Grouping means for grouping objects grouped spatially on the screen based on the calculated distance as one group
- Group processing means for executing a group process, which is a process for the group according to the operation, when a predetermined operation is performed on the group on the screen.
- a group process which is a process for the group according to the operation
- the distance on the screen between a pair of object data extracted from a plurality of objects is calculated and spatially collected on the screen based on the calculated distance.
- Objects are grouped as a group, and the object is displayed on the screen with a group identification indicating the attribution of the object to the group.
- group processing that is processing for the group corresponding to the operation is executed.
- this object display processing apparatus it is possible to classify and manage a plurality of objects outside the screen easily and efficiently.
- the distance calculating means may calculate the distance for all of a pair of objects extracted from the plurality of objects.
- a pair of objects whose distances are equal to or less than a predetermined threshold may be dulled. This makes it possible to group objects on the screen according to their spatial arrangement.
- the grouping means groups a pair of objects that are not grouped when the distance between the pair of objects is equal to or smaller than a first threshold value. And when the distance between a pair of objects already grouped is greater than the first threshold and less than or equal to the second threshold, the grouped objects are paired together. The grouping may be maintained. As a result, the objects that have been grouped so far can be made relatively difficult to group together, and the grouping of the constructed group can be made difficult to cancel. Therefore, it is possible to freely arrange objects on the screen while suppressing unintended object grouping and ungrouping, so operations for classifying and managing objects displayed on the screen are possible. It becomes possible to improve performance and convenience.
- the grouping means may execute grouping of the objects when the positional relationship of the objects on the screen is changed. In this case, any object or group is moved on the screen or a new object is moved. When a jett is created or the positional relationship of objects on the screen is changed, object grouping is executed. Therefore, if a new object is added near an object or group, or if any object or group is brought closer to another object or group on the screen, those objects are automatically grouped. It becomes possible to do. In addition, if any object of a certain group force is separated on the screen, the duplication of any object can be released, so that the reclassification of the object can be performed easily and efficiently.
- the object display processing device selects a group mode in which duplication by the grouping means, display processing by the display means, and group processing by the group processing means are enabled.
- a group mode setting unit that can cancel the selection may be further provided. This makes it possible to select an arbitrary group mode, and it is also possible to execute construction of multiple groups or cancellation of grouping in one action.
- the object display processing device includes an object position acquisition unit that acquires positions on the screen of the plurality of objects, and each of the acquired objects.
- the display means may further include group range setting means for setting a group range which is a range on the screen of the group, and the display means sets the set group range as the group identification display and the object. In addition, it may be displayed on the screen.
- the group range is set more appropriately according to the spatial arrangement of objects on the screen, and is displayed on the screen as a group identification display. Can be easily identified on the screen.
- the group range setting means is a region corresponding to the plurality of objects with a potential based on the position of each of the acquired objects and a virtual potential field assigned to each of the objects.
- a potential setting means that calculates a boundary that surrounds a region where the calculated potential is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold.
- the group identification display indicating the attribution of the object to the group is more appropriate according to the spatial arrangement of the object on the screen. It is possible to display it on the screen. If the boundary based on the potential calculated as described above is displayed on the screen as a group identification display, when the object or the like is moved on the screen, the group identification display expands or contracts according to the movement. Thus, it is possible to visually and easily present whether or not the grouping has been canceled.
- the potential field may be defined as a concentration function that maximizes the potential at a predetermined reference position of the object and defines the potential to be smaller as the distance in the reference position radial direction increases.
- concentration function that applies so-called metaballs in two dimensions is used as the potential field to be given to each object, the spatial condition of the objects on the screen can be obtained by using the so-called matching square method. Accordingly, it is possible to set the boundary as the group identification display more appropriately.
- the grouping means may calculate the potential for each grid corresponding to each of the objects at least among a plurality of grids set for the screen.
- the potential calculating means may calculate the potential with attenuation of the potential field according to the state of the object on the screen.
- the potential field based on the reference potential for each object is calculated.
- the potential may be calculated with an attenuation of.
- the reference potential which is the potential of the position of the reference position of the object on the display screen, is determined depending on the degree of overlapping of the potential fields according to the degree of grouping of the objects. Therefore, if the potential field is attenuated based on the reference potential for each object, the potential field of the object can be attenuated more appropriately according to the degree of overlap between the potential fields. It is possible to display the boundary of the group, that is, the group identification display in a compact manner on the screen.
- the potential calculation means does not belong to the same group as any of the objects when calculating the potential of the area corresponding to any of the objects! , It may give a negative weight to the potential field of the object.
- subtracting the potential due to the potential field of the object according to the negative weight, which belongs to the same group as the object changes the positional relationship of the object on the screen. Accordingly, when group identification displays based on boundaries based on potentials calculated as described above approach on the screen, they can be displayed so as to repel each other. As a result, it is possible to visually present a state in which objects are grouped so far and objects are relatively difficult to group.
- the group processing means displays at least a part of a plurality of objects belonging to the group on the screen so as to overlap each other.
- the plurality of objects belonging to the group may be redisplayed so that the overlap between the objects is substantially eliminated according to a predetermined expansion request operation.
- the request operation is executed, the overlap is almost eliminated, and it is possible to easily access and operate each of a plurality of objects belonging to the group.
- the operability during management can be improved.
- overlap is almost eliminated here means that the overlap between objects is completely eliminated, and at least the overlap is eliminated to the extent that the lower object can be accessed. Including that.
- the group processing means includes an object pair extraction means for extracting a pair of objects from a plurality of objects belonging to the group, and an object pair extraction means for eliminating the overlap between the extracted pair of objects.
- Relative positional relationship deriving means for deriving a relative positional relationship between a pair of objects, and the overlapping of the extracted pair of objects based on the derived relative positional relationship and a predetermined positional constraint
- target position setting means for setting a target position on the screen.
- the target position setting means uses the target position as a free variable, and a residual between the relative positional relationship outside the pair of objects based on the target position and the set relative positional relationship.
- the target position may be set by minimizing an energy function representing the sum of the squares of the two by the least square method.
- the group processing means when an input operation of a stroke for dividing the group is performed on the screen, based on the input stroke.
- the group may be divided into a plurality of new groups. This makes it possible to easily divide one group constructed according to the spatial arrangement of objects on the screen into multiple groups again.
- a group is created that includes objects that are not intended for groupings, if you enter strokes to separate objects that are not intended for groupings and objects that do not, Easy to configure It becomes possible to build. Therefore, in the object display processing apparatus provided with such a group processing means, it is possible to improve the convenience when classifying and managing the outside of the objects displayed on the screen.
- the “new multiple groups” mentioned here may include only a single object.
- the group processing means among objects belonging to the group, duplicates an object located on one side of the stroke as a new group, and more than the input stroke.
- the objects located on the other side may be grouped as a new group.
- the object display processing apparatus potential is a potential for calculating a potential based on the position of the plurality of objects on the screen and a virtual potential field assigned to each of the objects, for an area corresponding to the plurality of objects.
- the group processing means is formed based on the boundary and the stroke. For every two noreps, the objects in the norepe may be gnoleated as a single gnole.
- the object display processing device when a predetermined operation is performed on any object belonging to the group, performs an individual process that is a process on the object according to the operation. You may further provide the separate processing means to perform.

- the coordinates of the image centers of all icons 10 based on 31 coordinate systems are acquired (step S100).
- a combination of a pair of icons 10 in all the icons 10 displayed on the display screen 31 is extracted, and all the extracted pair of icons 10 are based on the coordinates of each icon 10 acquired in step S100.
- the distance d between the image centers is calculated (step S110).
- grouping is performed in which the icons 10 spatially grouped on the display screen 31 are grouped (step S120).
- step S120 The grouping process in step S120 is described in detail with reference to FIG.
- the grouping unit 23 obtains the distance d corresponding to the first predetermined pair of icons 10 (step S200), and then obtains the obtained distance d. It is determined whether or not the pair of icons 10 corresponding to is already grouped (step S210). Then, if the pair of icons 10 is not grouped, the threshold value def ef serving as a criterion for grouping the pair of icons 10 is set to the first value drefl (step S220).
- the threshold dref as a criterion is set to the first value d
- a second value dref2 larger than refl is set (step S220).
- the threshold dref set in step S220 or S230 is compared with the distance d acquired in step S200 (step S240). If the distance d is less than or equal to the threshold dref, the target pair of icons 10 While grouping each other (step S250), if the distance d exceeds the threshold value dref, the grouping of the target pair of icons 10 is canceled (maintaining the ungrouped state) (step S260). .
- step S270 it is determined whether or not the processing has been completed for all the pair of icons 10 . If the processing has not been completed, steps S200 to S250 are performed for the remaining pair of icons 10 according to a predetermined order. Alternatively, the process of S260 is repeatedly executed, and this process is terminated when an affirmative determination is made in step S270.
- the grouping process in step S120 is executed, the icons 10 satisfying the determination criteria in step S240, that is, the icons 10 spatially grouped on the display screen 31, are sequentially grouped. It will be. Grouping here refers to icons 10 that meet the criteria in step S240 for group processing such as “Cut”, “Copy,,”, and “Paste” included in the above-mentioned group menu GM. - the potential based on the potential field is calculated (step S130).
- a concentration function applying a so-called metaball in two dimensions as shown in FIG. 6A is used as a virtual potential field assigned to each icon 10.
- each potential field has a maximum value Pmax (> 1) at the center of the image (or the center of gravity of the image) that is the reference position of the icon 10, and follows a predetermined law as the distance from the image center increases in the radial direction.
- the potential is specified to be small.
- the radius rO of a circle whose icon center force is slightly larger than the circle that generally circumscribes the image of each icon 10 The potential at the location is set to value 1, and the potential at the location where the distance of the image center force is the value rl is set to 0.
- the plurality of potential grids are arranged in parallel at equal intervals, for example, with a predetermined number of pixels, and have a correspondence relationship with the coordinate system of the display screen 31.
- step S130 is to calculate the potential for each potential grid corresponding to each icon 10 for the purpose of setting the bubble boundary bb.
- step S130 The potential calculation process in step S130 is described in detail with reference to FIG.
- the potential calculation unit 24 first displays a value on the display screen 31 based on the coordinates of each icon 10 acquired in step S100 and the result of the grouping process in step S120.
- Set the potential calculation area PA (see Fig. 2) (step S 300).
- the potential calculation area PA is the total number of groups defined in step S120 and the number of single icons 10 that have not been grouped in step S120. Only set.
- the coordinates of the image center of the icon 10 and the circumscribed rectangle of a circle with a radius rl centered on the image center that is the extension of the potential field of the icon 10 Based on this, the potential calculation area PA is set.
- the inner area of the outer circumference of the circumscribed rectangle group that overlaps each other is based on the coordinates of the image center of each icon 10 belonging to the group and the circumscribed rectangle. Set as PA.
- step S31 0 the reference potential Pc which is a potential is calculated.
- the reference potential Pc is obtained by measuring the potential (Pmax) of the potential field of the icon 10 and the potential based on the distance between the image centers of all other icons 10 with respect to the coordinates of the icon center of the icon 10. It is calculated for all icons 10 in the target potential calculation area PA.
- the reference potential Pc calculated in this way is obtained when the plurality of icons 10 (potential field) overlap each other on the display screen 31 with the distance between the image centers being less than the value rl. The smaller the distance, the larger the value (value Pmax or higher). If the reference potential Pc is calculated for all icons 10 in the target potential calculation area PA, the maximum potential value Pmax due to the potential field of one icon 10 is calculated for each icon 10 in the potential calculation area PA. A calculation is performed to divide by the calculated reference potential Pc to set an attenuation coefficient ⁇ for attenuating the potential field (step S320).
- step S330 the potential based on the coordinates of all the icons 10 in the potential calculation area PA (group) and the potential field is calculated (step S330).
- step S330 the potential force in one potential grid corresponding to the target potential calculation area PA is determined based on the distance between the one potential grid and the center of the image of all icons 10 in the area PA.
- the potential of the potential field of each icon 10 is multiplied by the damping coefficient ⁇ set in step S320. That is, in the process of step S330, the potential fields of all the icons 10 in the target potential calculation area ⁇ ⁇ are attenuated based on the attenuation coefficient ⁇ set in step S320.
- step S340 based on the potential of each potential grid calculated in step S330, the potential based on the coordinates and potential fields of all icons 10 outside the target potential calculation area ⁇ ( ⁇ belonging to the group). Is subtracted (step S340). That is, in step S340, a negative weight w is assigned to the potential field of the icon 10 outside the target potential calculation area PA, that is, the icon 10 that does not belong to the same group as the icon 10 in the area PA.
- the potential force of each potential grid calculated at 0 is also the target potential calculation area.
- the value obtained by multiplying the potential by the potential field of each icon 10 outside the PA by a negative weight w is subtracted.
- the negative weight w to be generated is set to a value of 0.4, for example.
- step S340 as in step S330, the potential due to the potential field of each icon 10 outside the area PA is multiplied by the attenuation coefficient ⁇ set in step S320. After that, it is determined whether or not the processing has been completed for all potential calculation areas ⁇ set in step S300 (step S350) . If the processing has not been completed, a predetermined order is determined. Accordingly, the processes of steps S310 to S340 are repeatedly executed for the remaining potential calculation area ⁇ , and this process is terminated when an affirmative determination is made in step S350.
- the potential of each potential grid calculated by the potential calculation unit 24 in this manner is given to the bubble boundary setting unit 25 used for setting the bubble boundary bb described above, and the bubble boundary setting unit 25 Based on the potential of each potential grid from the calculation unit 24, the bubble boundary bb (see FIG. 6B) that is the boundary of the bubble 11 is set (step S140).
- the bubble boundary setting unit 25 compares the calculated potential of each potential grid with a predetermined threshold value Pref by using a marching square method in which the so-called matching cube method is applied in two dimensions. Set bubble boundary bb, which is the boundary of bubble 11 above.
- a look-up table patterned as shown in FIG. 8 illustrates the boundary corresponding to the comparison result between the calculated potential value and the threshold value Pref between the four potential grids.
- the bubble boundary setting unit 25 refers to the lookup table, and the bubble boundary of the bubble 11 to be displayed on the display screen 31 based on the comparison result between the potential value of each potential grid and the predetermined threshold value Pref. Set the coordinates of bb. As a result, for all the icons 10 on the display screen 31, it is possible to set the bubble boundary bb which is the range (group range) of the icons 10 to be grouped on the display screen 31 at a higher speed. As shown in FIG.
- the bubble boundary bb is centered on the image center. It is set as a circle with a radius rO.
- the image processing unit 21 reads necessary data from the image data storage unit 22, and based on the coordinates input in step S100.
- the bubble 11 corresponding to each icon 10 is displayed based on the coordinates of the bubble boundary bb set in step S140 (step S150), and this process is terminated.
- the above-described grouped display processing is executed. It is possible to execute group construction or ungrouping with one action.
- any icon 10 or group is moved on the display screen 31, or a new icon 10 is created on the display screen 31. If the positional relationship of the icon 10 is changed, the grouped display process described above is executed immediately after the creation of the icon 10 or until the start force of the moving operation is completed. It is possible to build a group according to the situation.
- FIGS. 9 to 14 the above-described grouping display process will be specifically described taking the display state of the display screen 31 as an example.
- the bubble boundary bb will be clearly indicated by a solid line for ease of explanation in each drawing.
- 9 and 10 show the display state of the display screen 31 when the icon 10 is moved on the display screen 31. It is explanatory drawing which illustrates a state. As shown in Fig. 9 (a), drag one of the icons 10 (or the surrounding bubble 11) to bring it closer to the other grouped! /, Icon 10 (group).
- a bubble boundary bb surrounding the icon 10 dragged based on the potential calculated in step S130 and the icon 10 belonging to any of the groups is set (step S140). As shown in FIG.
- the two are sufficiently separated from each other on the display screen 31, and are calculated in step S130 due to separation of potential fields (elimination of overlapping).
- the bubble boundary bb surrounding the dragged icon 10 based on the potential and the bubble boundary bb surrounding the other icon 10 belonging to the group are set (step S140).
- the bubble 11 surrounding the dragged icon 10 and the bubble 11 surrounding the remaining other icons 10 are displayed separately (step S 150).
- a generally circular bubble 11 is displayed around the icon 10 separated from the group.
- a bubble 11 surrounding them is displayed around the icons 10 that remain grouped.
- Classification can be performed easily and efficiently.
- the V and icon 10 (group) are moved on the display screen 31 under the group mode, the above-described grouped display processing is executed.
- Fig. 11B, Fig. 11C, and Fig. 1 ID dragging one of the icons 10 or the group and sequentially releasing it on the other icon 10 or group will release it.
- a new group is created, it becomes possible to perform so-called belly picking easily and efficiently. This makes it possible to classify and manage a large number of icons 10 distributed on the display screen 31 extremely efficiently.
- the icon 10 that has been subjected to tapping and tapping indicates the icon 10 released on another group.
- the dragged icon 10 and other icons 10 or the like may be released.
- Cases where a group is desired (grouping) and cases where a dragged icon 10 or the like is dropped on another icon 10 that is a folder or a folder of another group (drag and drop) are included.
- the computer 20 of the embodiment the computer 20 of the embodiment Then, when the drag and drop is executed, it is possible to identify whether the group 11 or the drag and drop is executed. Bubble boundary bb is temporarily displayed in dark color.
- the potential of the potential grid is calculated with the attenuation of the potential field according to the state of the icons 10 on the display screen 31 (steps S320, S330, and S340). Even if the potential fields of the icons 10 summarized in FIG. 12 overlap each other, as shown in FIG. 12A and FIG. 12B, as shown in FIGS. It can suppress that bb expands. That is, when a plurality of icons 10 overlap each other on the display screen 31, the overlap between the potential fields of the plurality of icons 10 increases as the distance between the image centers decreases. As the potential field overlap increases, the potential of the grid corresponding to the overlapped potential field increases. As shown in the upper part of FIGS.
- a reference potential Pc that is the potential of the coordinates on the display screen 31 at the center of the image as the reference position is calculated (step S310).
- the potential potential of the target potential grid while attenuating the potential due to the potential field of each icon 10 using the damping coefficient ⁇ (step S320) obtained by dividing the maximum potential Pmax by the two potential fields by the reference potential Pc (Steps S330, S340), as shown in the lower part of Fig. 12A and Fig.
- the potential field of each icon 10 is attenuated more appropriately and the bubble boundary bb as the group range is displayed on the display screen 31.
- a compact display is possible. That is, since the reference potential Pc in the coordinates of the center of the image of each icon 10 is determined depending on the degree of overlapping of the potential fields according to the unity of the icons 10 on the display screen 31, the reference potential Pc is determined. If the potential due to the potential field is attenuated for each icon 10 using the attenuation coefficient ⁇ based on the potential Pc, a plurality of potential fields will overlap, The potential of the corresponding potential grid can be reduced according to the degree of overlap between potential fields, thereby suppressing the expansion of bubble boundary bb.
- the computer 20 when calculating the potential of the grid corresponding to the set potential calculation area PA, the computer 20 belongs to the same group as the icon 10 in the potential calculation area PA.
- the potential field of the non-icon 10 is assigned a negative weight w, and the target potential calculation area is calculated from the coordinates based on the coordinates of the icons 10 and the potential field belonging to the same group of each potential grid calculated in step S330.
- the potential based on the coordinates of all icons 10 and the potential field outside the PA (! /! Which belongs to the group) is subtracted (step S340).
- the bubble boundary bb of the bubble 11 surrounding the grouped icon 10 belongs to the same group as the icon 10 in the bubble 11 as shown in FIG. 13!
- the distance d on the display screen 31 is calculated for all of the pair of icons 10 extracted from the plurality of icons 10 on the display screen 31.
- the icons 10 spatially grouped on the display screen 31 based on the calculated distance d are grouped as one group (Step S120), and the attribution of the icon 10 to the group is performed.
- the icon 10 is displayed on the display screen 31 together with the bubble 11 as the group identification display shown (step S150). That is, in the computer 20, the distance d between the image centers is calculated for all of the pair of icons 10 extracted from the plurality of icons 10, and the calculated distance d is the threshold dref (first value dr efl or the first value).
- a pair of icons 10 or less are grouped together (Steps S240 to S260).
- a plurality of icons 10 can be grouped according to the state of the grouping.
- the processing is performed on the group according to the operation.
- Group processing is executed. Further, when any operation is performed on any icon 10 belonging to the group, processing corresponding to the operation is performed. Therefore, according to the computer 20 of the embodiment, the plurality of icons 10 on the display screen 31 can be easily and efficiently classified and managed, and the classified icons 10 can be easily reclassified and managed. It becomes possible to do.
- step S120 when the distance d between the pair of icons 10 that have not been grouped so far is equal to or less than the first value drefl, the pair that is not grouped is not included. Icons 10 are grouped together, and the distance between a pair of icons 10 already grouped is grouped when the distance d is less than or equal to the second threshold dref 2 that is greater than the first threshold drefl. The grouping of a pair of icons 10 will be maintained.
- the icon 10 can be freely arranged on the display screen 31 while suppressing the unintended grouping and release of the icon 10 so that the icons 10 displayed on the display screen 31 can be classified and managed. It is possible to improve the operability and convenience when doing so.
- the coordinates (positions) of the plurality of icons 10 on the display screen 31 are acquired (step S100), and the acquired coordinates of the icon 10 and the above-described predetermined restrictions are used.
- the bubble boundary bb which is the range of the group on the display screen 31
- the set bubble boundary bb (group range) ) Is displayed on the display screen 31 together with the icon 10 as a group identification display (step S150).
- each icon 10 Is assigned a virtual potential field, and the potential based on the coordinates (position) of each icon 10 and the potential field is calculated for each potential grid corresponding to each icon 10, and the calculated potential is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold value Pref. If the bubble boundary bb surrounding the area is set, the bubble boundary bb as the group range can be set more appropriately according to the spatial arrangement of the icons 10 on the display screen 31. Further, by separating the potential calculation process (step S130) and the setting of the bubble boundary bb (step S140) from the grouping process (step S120), the calculation load can be reduced.
- a concentration function using a so-called metaball in two dimensions is used as a potential field to be assigned to each icon 10
- the space of the icon 10 on the display screen 31 can be obtained by using the so-called marching square method. It is possible to set the bubble boundary bb as a group identification display more appropriately according to the degree of unity. Then, when calculating the potential using such a potential field, the potential of each icon 10 based on the reference potential Pc in the coordinates of the center of the image 10 of each icon 10 indicating the unity of the icons 10 on the display screen 31.
- the field is attenuated, even if the potential fields of the icons 10 spatially arranged overlap each other, the potential field is surrounded by the potential field above the threshold value Pref due to such overlapping of the potential fields.
- the bubble boundary bb can be prevented from expanding.
- the bubble boundary bb as a group range can be displayed in a compact manner on the display screen 31, so that the bubble boundary bb is not unnecessarily enlarged and displayed on the display screen 31. It is possible to avoid unnecessary screen space consumption.
- the set bubble boundary bb is displayed on the display screen 31 as a group identification display, one group and the icon 10 belonging to it can be easily identified on the display screen 31. It becomes.
- the bubble boundary bb set in step S140 is based on the potential calculated as described above. Therefore, if the icon 10 or group is moved on the display screen 31, the movement will be changed. Accordingly, the bubble 11 is displayed so as to expand and contract, and it becomes possible to visually indicate whether the grouping has been canceled or not.
- the bubble 11 as a group identification display is not displayed on the display screen 31, and the mouse cursor is placed inside the bubble boundary bb of the icon 10 that is spatially grouped on the display screen 31.
- the bubble boundary bb may be displayed! / ,.
- the potential calculation process (step S130) is executed after the grouping process in step S120, and the bubble boundary bb is set based on the result of the potential calculation process (step S140).
- multiple bubble boundaries bb are set in step S140 for one group determined in step S120, they will be placed inside the set bubble boundary bb after step S140. Perform post-processing to regroup the icon 10 as a group.
- an extended display process which is one of the group processes by the group processing unit 27 of the computer 20 of the embodiment will be described.
- the extended display process as shown in FIG. 15A, at least a part of the plurality of icons 10 belonging to the same group on the display screen 31 is displayed. This is a process of redisplaying a plurality of icons 10 belonging to the group so that the overlapping of the icons 10 is resolved in response to an expansion request operation by the user. See Figure 15B;)).
- selecting “Extended Display” from the above-mentioned group menu GM placing the mouse cursor on the bubble 11 around the grouped icon 10 as shown in FIG.
- the extended display processing shown in FIG. 16 is mainly executed by the extended display processing unit 28 of the group processing unit 27.
- the extended display processing unit 28 first displays the image center of all icons 10 belonging to the group that has received the expansion request operation (hereinafter referred to as “target group” as appropriate). After acquiring the coordinates on the screen 31 (step S400), a well-known Delaunay triangulation process is executed using the acquired coordinates of each icon 10 as an input point group (step S410). By executing such a Delaunay triangulation process, as shown in FIG. 17, a pair of icons 10 in which the image centers are connected by a Delaunay side, two icons 10 in all the icons 10 belonging to the target group 10 It can be extracted as a combination.
- step S420 when a pair of icons 10 overlap each other as illustrated in FIG. 18A and FIG. 18B, the pair of icons 10 is placed on one side of the Delaunay corresponding to both (FIGS. 18A and 18B).
- the relative position vector between the two images is derived as the ideal relative position relationship when the shortest distance between the two image perimeters is a predetermined value Gmin. If the pair of icons 10 do not overlap with each other, the relative position vector as the ideal relative positional relationship is set as a zero vector.
- Fig. 19 shows an example of the source code of a program for obtaining such an ideal relative positional relationship.
- Vi and Vj indicate the position vectors of the icons 10 that are paired with each other, and dVij is the ideal relative positional relationship between the pair of icons 10 set in step S420. Relative position vector.
- the processing of step S430 in the embodiment is such that the center of gravity on the display screen 31 of the target group obtained based on the image center of all the icons 10 in the target group immediately before the expansion request operation is unchanged (does not move). It is assumed that the simultaneous linear equations obtained by partial differentiation of the above energy functions with free variables are solved.
- the target coordinates of all the icons 10 belonging to the target group set in step S450 are given to the potential calculation unit 24, and the potential calculation unit 24 sets the target coordinates of each icon 10 of the target group.
- the potential in each of a plurality of potential grids corresponding to the area surrounding the target group necessary and sufficient on the display screen 31 is calculated (step S460).
- the area that sufficiently surrounds the target group is, for example, a circle with a radius rl centered on the center of the image that is the extension of the potential field assigned to each icon 10, as in the potential calculation area PA described above. It can be set based on the circumscribed rectangle and the target coordinates set in step S450 of all icons belonging to the target group.
- the potential of each potential grid calculated in step S460 is given to the bubble boundary setting unit 25.
- the bubble boundary setting unit 25 uses the marching square method described above to set the potential of each potential grid and a predetermined threshold value Pref.
- To the target coordinates of all 10 icons belonging to the target group set in step S450. Set the corresponding bubble boundary bb (step S470).
- the image processing unit 21 reads out necessary data from the image data storage unit 22, displays each icon 10 of the target group based on the target coordinates set in step S450, and sets it in step S470.
- the bubble 11 corresponding to each icon 10 is displayed (step S480), and this process is terminated.
- the expansion request operation is performed. If this is executed, access and operation to each of the plurality of icons 10 belonging to the group can be easily executed. For example, even if there is an icon 10 that is obscured by another icon 10 belonging to the same group, such as the icon 10x in FIG. 15A, by executing the extended request operation, as shown in FIG. 15B, The icons 10 belonging to the group are instantly expanded and redisplayed so that the overlap between the icons 10 is eliminated (step S480), which makes it difficult to place the mouse cursor until then. The icon 10x can be accessed and operated very easily. Therefore, in the computer 20 of the embodiment, the operability when classifying and managing the icons 10 displayed on the display screen 31 can be improved.
- the computer 20 of the embodiment extracts a pair of the icons 10 of the plurality of icons 10 belonging to the target group (step S410), and all of the extracted pair of icons 10 are extracted.
- the derived relative positional relationship is re-established under the positional constraint that the center of gravity of the target group is fixed, for example.
- Set the target coordinates for each icon 10 by minimizing the energy function that represents the sum of the squares of the residuals between the relative position of the pair of icons 10 based on the target coordinates during display (extended display). (Steps S440 and S450).
- the relative positional relationship of the icons 10 in the target group before overlap elimination is substantially maintained and the bubble 11 that is the display range of the target group is suppressed from being unnecessarily expanded, while the icons 10 Multiple icons 10 belonging to the target group can be displayed again so that the overlap is eliminated.
- it is added to the target group in step S470.
- the threshold value Pref value to be reduced, or the potential field of the icon 10 belonging to the target group is strengthened, and post-processing may be executed to reset the bubble boundary bb.
- the potential field of the icon 10 belonging to the target group may be strengthened in advance in step S460 so that multiple bubble boundaries bb are not set for the target group from the beginning!
- the threshold value Pref compared with the potential of each potential grid may be reduced.
- the target group can be expanded and displayed to the extent that access to each icon 10 is basically possible.
- the target coordinates of all the icons 10 of the target group may be set in step S450 after executing the processes of steps S400 to S440 for a plurality of cycles (for example, 10 cycles).
- the target coordinates set in step S450 of the previous cycle may be used as the coordinates of the image center of each icon in step S400 of the next cycle.
- step S440 instead of the position constraint of fixing the center of gravity of the target dull, the position constraint of fixing the image center of the icon 10 clicked by the user and the clicked position is used. Also good.
- the target group is relatively close to the edge of the display screen 31, use the positional constraint that the image center of the icon 10 closest to the edge of the display screen 31 or the corner is fixed.
- the icon 10 belonging to the target group is displayed on the display screen 31 at the original position before the expansion request operation, and the target The group bubble 11 is also displayed as indicating the original group range before the expansion request operation.
- the conditions for returning the expanded display to the original state are that a predetermined time has elapsed after the re-display in step S480, and any icon 10 belonging to the target group 10 after the re-display in step S480. Operation is done The mouse cursor is moved away from the target group bubble 11, and some operation is performed outside the target group bubble 11.
- the expanded display may be maintained as it is.
- FIG. 20 is a flowchart showing an example of the group division processing mainly executed by the group division processing unit 29 of the group processing unit 27.
- the group division processing in FIG. 20 is performed in the state shown in FIG. 21A, as shown in FIG. 21B, the bubble 11 surrounding the plurality of icons 10 on the display screen 31 by the stroke S input by the user, that is, Fired when bubble 11 of any group is broken.
- the group division processing unit 29 firstly sets the coordinates of the center of the image of all icons 10 surrounded by the bubbles 11 divided by the stroke S, and the bubble.
- the coordinates of the bubble boundary bb and the coordinates of the input stroke S are acquired (step S500).
- two closed loops LI and L2 as shown in FIG. 21B are created based on the obtained coordinates of the bubble boundary bb and the coordinates of the stroke S (S510). If two such loops L1 and L2 are created, the force located inside either loop LI or L2 for each icon 10 using the coordinates of each icon 10 obtained in step S500.
- step S520 It is determined whether or not, and grouping of icons 10 is executed based on the determination result (step S520). Grouping here means that all icons 10 located in one loop L1 or L2 are one icon for group processing such as “Cut”, “Copy”, and “Paste” included in the above group menu GM. Means to associate with each other to be considered. If the regrouping of the icon 10 surrounded by the bubble 11 divided by the stroke S is executed in this way, the loop L1 set in step S510 is necessary and sufficient by the potential calculation unit 24 described above.
- Step S530 Display picture surrounded by The potentials of the plurality of potential grids corresponding to the region on the surface 31 and the plurality of potential grids corresponding to the region on the display screen 31 that sufficiently surrounds the loop L2 set in step S510 are calculated ( Step S530).
- the potential based on the potential field of only icon 10 located in loop L1 is calculated, and for a plurality of potential grids corresponding to loop L2, positions in loop L2 are calculated.
- the potential of the potential field with only the icon 10 is calculated.
- the area that surrounds the loops LI and L2 is also located within the loop L1 or L2 and the circumscribed rectangle of the circle with the radius rl around the center of the image that is the extension of the potential field assigned to each icon 10.
- the image of the icon 10 to be set can be set based on the coordinates of the center.
- the potential of each potential grid calculated in step S530 is given to the bubble boundary setting unit 25.
- the noble boundary setting unit 25 uses the marching square method described above to set the potential of each potential grid and a predetermined threshold value. By comparing with Pref, the coordinates of bubble boundary bb corresponding to icon 10 located in loop L1 and bubble boundary bb corresponding to icon 10 located in loop L2 are set (step S). 540).
- the image processing unit 21 reads out necessary data from the image data storage unit 22, displays each icon 10 based on the coordinates acquired in step S500, and sets the public boundary bb set in step S540. Based on the coordinates! /, The bubble 11 corresponding to each loop LI, L2 is displayed (step S550), and this process is terminated.
- the bubble boundary of the bubble 11 is concerned.
- the objects in loops LI and L2 are grouped as a group. That is, when a stroke S that divides any bubble 11 is input to the computer 20, as shown in FIGS. 21B and 21C, the icon 10 located on one side (left side in the figure) of the stroke S is displayed. Are grouped as a new group, and the icons 10 positioned on the other side of the input stroke S are grouped as a new group.
- the spatial image of the icon 10 on the display screen 31 is displayed. It becomes possible to easily divide one group constructed according to the degree of stay into multiple groups. Also, if a dull is constructed that includes an icon 10 that is not intended to be grouped, a stroke S may be entered to separate the icon 10 that is intended to be grouped from the icon 10 that is not. Thus, it is possible to easily build the originally intended group. Therefore, in the computer 20 that can execute such a group division process, it is possible to improve convenience when the icons 10 displayed on the display screen 31 are classified and managed.
- the “new multiple groups” mentioned here include those to which only a single icon 10 belongs.
- bubble boundary bb corresponding to loop L1 set in step S540 and bubble boundary bb corresponding to loop L2 are set.
- the bubble boundary bb corresponding to the loop L1 and the bubble boundary bb corresponding to the loop L2 may overlap on the display screen 31.
- the bubble boundaries bb overlap each other in this way, it is assumed that both bubbles 11 (groups) will be separated from each other on the display screen 31 by the user, so there is no practical problem. It is done.
- the present invention can be applied to a chat system or BBS instead of being applied to the classification and management of the icons 10 on the display screen 31 of the display device 30 connected to the computer 20.
- This may be applied to management of text boxes, bookmark management of web pages, and playlist management of music playback devices.
- FIG. 22 shows a display screen of a two-dimensional chat system to which the present invention is applied.
- the user When chatting in the two-dimensional chat system shown in Fig. 22, the user writes his own message for an existing message in the text box 1 OT as an object, and then the text box 10 T in which the existing message is written. Place around.
- the existing text box 1 OT and the new text box 1 OT related to a common theme are grouped as shown in FIG.
- the present invention is useful in the field of information processing.

[0070] ∑ i,j{ I Vi - Vj - dVij |2 }…( 1)
