ここでは、圧縮機の目標吐出管温度の上限値を下げるために、室外機側に設けら れている膨張弁の開度が大きくなり、冷媒が容器に溜まるようになる。このため、高圧 側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。さらに、受液器などの部品を設ける必要が無いの で低コストである。
[0007] 第 4発明に係る室外機は、第 1発明に係る室外機であって、圧縮機の運転周波数 力 運転状態に基づいて加減される。湿り運転制御は、圧縮機および容器を含む冷 媒循環路の容量が所定量を下回り、圧縮機の運転周波数が所定周波数以下の場合 に行われる。
ここでは、一般に高圧側圧力が上昇するとピークカット制御の働きで運転周波数が 落ちてくる。このピークカット制御で高圧側圧力を下げられない場合、すなわち運転 周波数を落としても高圧側圧力を下げられない場合に、湿り運転が開始される。この ため、高圧側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。
[0008] 第 5発明に係る室外機は、第 1発明に係る室外機であって、湿り運転制御は、圧縮 機および容器を含む冷媒循環路の容量が所定量を下回り、冷媒の凝縮温度が所定 温度以上の場合に行われる。
ここでは、高圧側圧力が上昇すると、凝縮温度が高くなる。したがって、凝縮温度が 所定温度まで上昇したとき、高圧側圧力が上昇していると判定され、湿り運転が開始 される。このため、高圧側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。
[0009] 第 6発明に係る室外機は、第 3発明に係る室外機であって、目標吐出管温度の上 限値を、最小の吐出過熱が確保される吐出管温度まで下げて湿り運転制御が行わ れる。
ここでは、簡単な制御で余剰冷媒が容器に溜められるので、高圧側圧力の異常上 昇が防止される。さらに受液器などの部品を設ける必要がないので、低コストである。 そして、湿り運転を行っても圧縮機を保護できる。
[0010] 第 7発明に係る空気調和装置は、第 1発明から第 6発明のいずれか 1つに係る室外 機と、室外機に接続される複数の室内機とで構成されている。
室内機が最小台数、最小能力で接続された場合でも、余剰冷媒を調節することが でき、高圧側圧力の異常上昇を防止できる。
発明の効果

第 4発明に係る室外機は、運転周波数が所定周波数まで低下したとき、高圧側圧 力が上昇していると判定され、湿り運転が開始される。このため、高圧側圧力の異常 上昇が防止される。

第 6発明に係る室外機は、高圧側圧力の異常上昇が防止される上に、受液器など の部品を設ける必要がないので、低コストである。そして、湿り運転を行っても圧縮機 を保護できる。

[0015] <空気調和装置の構成 >
本発明の一実施形態に係る室外機を含む空気調和装置の冷媒回路を、図 1に示 す。空気調和装置 1は、多室型空気調和装置であって、 1つの室外機 2に対して複 数の室内機 3が並列に接続される構成となっている。空気調和装置 1の冷媒回路 10 は、主として圧縮機 11、四路切換弁 12、室外熱交換器 13、膨張弁 14、室内熱交換 器 16が順に接続されたものであり、蒸気圧縮式の冷凍サイクルとなっている。ここで、 圧縮機 11は、インバータによる回転数制御を行う容量可変のインバータ圧縮機であ る。また、圧縮機 11の吸入側には、冷媒貯留量を増減できるアキュムレータ (容器) 2 0が設けられている。
圧縮機 11、四路切換弁 12、室外熱交換器 13および膨張弁 14は室外機 2に含ま れており、室内熱交換器 16は室内機 3に含まれている。また、四路切換弁 12と室内 熱交換器 16との間は冷媒連絡配管 17aにより接続され、膨張弁 14と室内熱交換器 16との間は冷媒連絡配管 17bにより接続される。冷媒連絡配管 17a、 17bは、室外 機 2と室内機 3との間に配置される。室外機 2の内部冷媒回路の端末部には、ガス側 閉鎖弁 18と液側閉鎖弁 19とが設けられている。ガス側閉鎖弁 18は四路切換弁 12 側に配置されており、液側閉鎖弁 19は膨張弁 14側に配置されている。ガス側閉鎖 弁 18には冷媒連絡配管 17aが接続され、液側閉鎖弁 19には冷媒連絡配管 17bが 接続される。これらの閉鎖弁 18, 19は、室外機 2や室内機 3を設置するときには閉状 態にされている。そして、閉鎖弁 18、 19は、室外機 2、室内機 3を現地に設置し冷媒 連絡配管 17aおよび冷媒連絡配管 17bを閉鎖弁 18, 19に接続した後に開状態とさ れる。
また、本実施形態の空気調和装置 1は、サーミスタカ 成る多くの温度センサを備 えている。室外温度センサ 102は、室外機 2が設置されている周囲温度を検知し、吐 出管温度センサ 111は、圧縮機 11の吐出配管に取付けられ、吐出管温度 Toを検出 する。暖房運転時の蒸発温度センサ 113は、室外熱交換器 13に取付けられ、蒸発 温度 Teを検出し、凝縮温度センサ 116は、室内熱交換器 16に取付けられ、凝縮温 度 Tcを検出する。また、液管温度センサ 117は、室内熱交翻16の暖房運転時の 出口側に取付けられ、液管温度 T1を検出する。これら温度センサの検出値に基づき 、制御部 4が空気調和装置 1を運転制御する。
<空気調和装置の動作 > (冷房運転)
次にこの空気調和装置 1の運転動作について説明する。冷房運転時は、四路切換 弁 12が図 1において実線で示す状態に保持される。圧縮機 11から吐出された高温 高圧のガス冷媒は、四路切換弁 12を介して室外熱交換器 13に流入し、室外空気と 熱交換して凝縮'液ィ匕する。液化した冷媒は、膨張弁 14で所定の低圧に減圧され、 さらに室内熱交 で室内空気と熱交換して蒸発する。そして、冷媒の蒸発によ つて冷却された室内空気は、図示しない室内ファンによって室内へと吹き出され、室 内を冷房する。また、室内熱交換器 16で蒸発して気化した冷媒は、冷媒連絡配管 1 7aを通って室外機 2に戻り、圧縮機 11に吸い込まれる。
[0017] (暖房運転)
暖房運転時は、四路切換弁 12が図 1において破線で示す状態に保持される。圧 縮機 11カゝら吐出された高温高圧のガス冷媒は、四路切換弁 12を介して各室内機 3 の室内熱交 に流入し、室内空気と熱交換して凝縮'液ィ匕する。冷媒の凝縮に よって加熱された室内空気は、室内ファンによって室内へと吹き出され、室内を暖房 する。室内熱交換器 16において液化した冷媒は、冷媒連絡配管 17bを通って室外 機 2に戻る。室外機 2に戻った冷媒は、膨張弁 14で所定の低圧に減圧され、さらに室 外熱交換器 13で室外空気と熱交換して蒸発する。そして、室外熱交換器 13で蒸発 して気化した冷媒は、四路切換弁 12を介して圧縮機 11に吸い込まれる。
<通常制御 >
図 2は、本発明の一実施形態に係る室外機を含む空気調和装置の制御ブロック図 である。制御部 4は、目標吐出管温度設定部 41、膨張弁解度制御部 42及びインバ ータ制御部 43を有し、目標吐出管温度設定部 41は、温度センサ 113, 116, 117の 検出値 Tc、 Te、 T1に基づいて目標吐出管温度 Tmを設定する。膨張弁開度制御部 42は、目標吐出管温度 Tmと吐出管温度 Toとの偏差を算出し、目標吐出管温度 T mと吐出管温度 Toがー致するように、膨張弁 14の開度調整を行う。インバータ制御 部 43は、圧縮機 11の運転周波数を適時設定し、圧縮機 11を最適運転させる。
[0018] なお、目標吐出管温度 Tmは、 Tm= a X Tc— β X Te + γの式で算出され、 γは 過冷却度補正項であり、実際の過冷却度 (T1 Tc)に基づいて算出される。実際の 過冷却度が目標の過冷却度より小さい場合は、過冷却度補正項 γが正となり、目標 吐出管温度 Tmが上がる。そのためアキュムレータ 20の液が減少し、過冷却度がつ いてくる。また、実際の過冷却度が目標の過冷却度より大きい (過冷却度がつき過ぎ ている)場合は、 yが負となり目標吐出管温度 Tmが下がり、アキュムレータ 20の液が 増加し、過冷却度が小さくなる。
ところで、多室型空気調和装置では、室内機の形態変化に対応するため、大容量 室内機の最大数接続に対応できうる冷媒量が選定されている。そのため、小容量室 内機の最小接続で暖房運転された場合は、余剰冷媒を高圧側に蓄えることになり、 過冷却がつきすぎて高圧側圧力が異常上昇する。
[0019] <容量制御 >
そこで、高圧側圧力の異常上昇を回避するため、暖房運転時には、所定の運転周 波数以下で高圧が上昇した場合は、吐出管温度上限値を、圧縮機 11の湿り限界と なる吐出過熱度が確保できる値へ変更し、膨張弁 14の開度を調節して湿り運転を行 う。この湿り運転を行うことによって、圧縮機 11の吸入口前に接続しているアキュムレ ータ 20に余剰冷媒を溜めて、凝縮器側 (室内機側)の液冷媒を減らし高圧を低下さ せている。
(暖房運転制御ロジック)
図 3は、暖房運転制御のフローチャートである。容量制御は、暖房運転制御の一部 分であり、暖房運転が開始されると容量制御をするか否かを決定する。先ず S1で、 接続されている室内機の容量が QL未満である力否かを判定する。 S1において Yes の場合は S2へ進み、圧縮機 11の運転周波数が FL未満であるカゝ否かを判定する。 S 2において Yesの場合は S3へ進み、凝縮温度が TcH以下であるカゝ否かを判定する o S3にお!/ヽて Yesの場合 ίま、湿り ffilj御運転を行う。なお、 SI, S2, S3の!ヽずれ力で N oの場合は通常制御を行う。なお、 QL、 FL、 TcHは、予め実験によって求められ、制 御部 4に記憶されている。
[0020] (湿り運転制御ロジック)
図 4は、湿り運転制御のフローチャートである。 S 11で目標吐出温度 Tmを、最小の 吐出過熱度を確保できる Tmhに設定する。次に S12へ進み、吐出管温度 Toと Tmh を比較する。 S13では、 Toと Tmhとの差力も膨張弁 14の開度を設定する。例えば、 To≥Tmhならば膨張弁 14の開度を大きくするように設定し、 Toく Tmhならば膨張 弁 14の開度を小さくするように設定する。そして S14へ進み、膨張弁 14を動作させる 。膨張弁 14を動作させた後は S1へ戻る。
<特徴 >

この室外機 2は、複数の室内機 3が接続される。室外機 2は、運転周波数を変更可 能な圧縮機 11と、アキュムレータ 20と、制御部 4とを備えている。アキュムレータ 20は 、圧縮機 11の吸入側に接続され冷媒貯留量を増減できる。制御部 4は、暖房運転時 に圧縮機 11およびアキュムレータ 20を含む冷媒循環路の容量が所定量を下回った 場合、アキュムレータ 20に余剰冷媒を溜めるための湿り運転制御を行う。このため、 室内機 3の接続台数が最小(2台以下)の場合でも、湿り運転制御によって余剰冷媒 がアキュムレータ 20に溜められるので室内熱交換器 16側の液冷媒が減少し、高圧 側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。また、湿り運転制御は、圧縮機 11の目標吐出管温 度の上限値を、最小の吐出過熱が確保される吐出管温度まで下げることによって、 膨張弁 14の開度が大きくなり冷媒がアキュムレータ 20に溜まるようになる。このため、 受液器などの部品を設ける必要が無ぐ低コストである。

この室外機 2では、湿り運転制御が、圧縮機 11およびアキュムレータ 20を含む冷 媒循環路の容量が所定量を下回り、圧縮機の運転周波数が所定周波数以下の場合 に行われる。つまり、運転周波数が所定周波数まで低下したとき高圧側圧力が上昇 したと判定され、湿り運転によって高圧側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。さらに、湿り 運転制御が、圧縮機 11およびアキュムレータ 20を含む冷媒循環路の容量が所定量 を下回り、冷媒の凝縮温度が所定温度以上の場合に行われる。つまり、凝縮温度が 所定温度まで上昇したとき高圧側圧力が上昇したと判定され、湿り運転によって高圧 側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。

この室外機 2を備えた空気調和装置 1は、暖房運転時において、圧縮機 11および アキュムレータ 20を含む冷媒循環路の容量が所定量を下回ったときに、アキュムレ ータ 20に余剰冷媒を溜めるための湿り運転制御を行う制御部を備えている。このた め、余剰冷媒の調節が可能であり、高圧側圧力の異常上昇が防止される。
産業上の利用可能性
以上のように本発明によれば、簡単な手段で冷凍回路内の余剰冷媒を調節するこ とができるので、 1台の室外機に複数の室内機を接続する多室型空気調和装置に有 用である。

[1] 複数の室内機 (3)が接続される空気調和装置(1)の室外機であって、
圧縮機(11)と、
前記圧縮機(11)の吸入側に配置され、冷媒貯留量を増減できる容器 (20)と、 暖房運転時にお!ヽて、前記圧縮機 (11)および前記容器 (20)を含む冷媒循環路 の容量が所定量を下回ったときに、前記容器 (20)に余剰冷媒を溜めるための湿り運 転制御を行う制御部 (4)と、
を備えた室外機 (2)。
[2] 前記湿り運転制御は、接続される前記室内機 (3)の台数が所定数以下の場合に行 われる、
