Abstract

L'invention porte sur un débruiteur d'images utilisant un procédé probabiliste pour débruiter les images en couleur consistant: à segmenter une image entrante en régions; à estimer des statistiques dans chaque région; et à estimer une image propre (débruitée) en utilisant la modèle probabiliste de formation de l'image. Dans une exécution, le flou estimé entre chaque région sert à réduire la netteté artificielle des lisières de régions résultant du débruitage de l'image entrante. Dans d'autre exécutions, le flou estimé sert à d'autres fins, dont l'accroissement de la netteté des bords d'une ou plusieurs régions ou à rendre plus floues ou plus nettes une ou des régions spécifiques de l'image(par exemple un foyer sélectif) tour en maintenant le flou original entre les différentes régions.
