Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à une centrale à piles à combustible PEM (4) qui comprend un évent passif (24) à travers lequel l'air séparé d'un courant effluent de cathode peut être évacué de la centrale. L'évent fonctionne de manière satisfaisante dans des conditions de gel ambiant, c'est pourquoi il est particulièrement adapté aux applications mobile telles que les automobiles ou les autobus à pile à combustible PEM, ou analogues. L'évent est formé d'une couche de liquide antigel (40) disposée dans un réservoir de barbotage (36) qui communique avec l'atmosphère ambiante. Les quelconques vapeurs d'eau présentes dans le courant peuvent se condenser du courant gazeux dans l'antigel. Afin de faciliter ce phénomène, l'antigel peut être un liquide non miscible dans l'eau de sorte que l'eau condensée forme une couche séparée (38) dans le réservoir de barbotage.
