Abstract

Um eine Vorrichtung zur thermischen Verwertung fester Abfälle zu schaffen, wobei die energetische Bilanz zumindest ausgeglichen, wenn nicht sogar positiv ist und die für eine breite Palette von Abfallarten geeignet ist, wobei besonderes Augenmerk auf die Umweltrelevanz, insbesondere die Rauchgas Zusammensetzung, gerichtet wird, wird im Rahmen der Erfindung vorgeschlagen, daß die Vorrichtung eine Materialaufgabevorrichtung (1), eine Verschwelungsvorrichtung (3) und eine thermische Nachverbrennungsvorrichtung (6) aufweist. Mit diesen Grundkomponenten können feste Abfälle verschiedenster Art verwertet werden, wobei die Einsatzstoffe zunächst in Heißgas umgewandelt werden, welches bei Bedarf in Dampf und Strom umgesetzt werden kann.
